Interesting game with old school visuals tho the gameplay jank can get a little tedious sometimes. Although this is still fun and engaging game, it's like left 4 dead and killing floor 1 but more objective oriented like in extract shooters such as helldivers. I am curious about the future for this game, so far i am quite impressed and happy to see more co-op pve games show up.

For £4, this game is so well put together. Another review said: 'We have Helldivers 2 at home', and I think there's merit to that, but I can tell the people that made this really enjoyed it and didn't want to simply rip off Helldivers 2 holistically. I could talk about the evident strengths and weaknesses that this game has at length, and equally the amount of other games that I think that has inspired it, but I'll just list them quickly. Strengths: - Gameplay is simple to learn - Has its own cripsy, ps1 era inspired graphics with a nice eldritch theme running throughout - Surprisingly more depth than I first realised with the creation of newer equipment - Allows you to choose how you want to play which is brilliant for casual players who want to jump on, or players that want a real challenge - Enough RnG to keep it fresh - Really nice community thus far - Maps that have been designed by hand - Can be played solo or with a squad Weaknesses: - Drops you in and...
This game is basically if the Global Occult Coalition from the SCP foundation universe had its own game. Banger music as well. The only thing they might need to fix in my opinion is the optimization. Tried playing this with a friend and even after they lowered the settings it kept dying on them. Still the concept is cool, gotta love killing demons and cultists bro.
Quite fun game-play and nice visual style, but higher difficulty modifiers are simply killing any further interest to play (at least solo, maybe you can mitigate some by well balanced team).
Grimdark Helldivers, pretty fun. Hope to see more.
This is like a more lo-fi indie killing floor, but third person, with nostalgic graphics, randomized anomalies and streamlined objectives. The game is most fun on the bigger difficulty settings. Cool enemy designs with each having their own role/function and way to defeat. Cool characters that can provide nice team synergy. A bit grindy, but not in an entirely bad way as the gameplay loop is fun, and unlocking new weapons and upgrading them is nice. Great fun for the price especially with friends (but also solo) especially now when it's on a sale. Great product for a team of two developers (supposedly from what I've heard)
Very fun game. It's like a janky mix of Killing Floor and Helldivers. Just do yourself a favor and mute the dialogues and music first.
its gud. bad name but maybe play with your dad or grandma sometime
Fantastic!
I can't believe Steam didn't recommend this game to me until now! It's like this weird mix of Helldivers 2, Zombie army 4, Resident Evil Revelation's RAID mode with Killing floor 1's industrial rock soundtrack, with a coat of Trench Crusade and body horror vibes/atmosphere/setting to top it off. Yes, it's a fever dream. I ADORE it, and I'm genuinely surprised it isn't popular yet, it's so damn good.
