Okay. Forgettable. A bit repetitive.
This game was really "just okay." The graphics were decent, and the "puzzles" were a distraction at best (not entertaining, but they kept me occupied in an otherwise repetitive game). Suffice it to say, there are better games out there. I was quite excited to play this because I like liminal space walking sims. Unfortunately, after just a little over an hour, I finished the game and was left rather dissatisfied. My partner literally laughed when he saw the expression on my face because I looked like I had just been scammed or lost a bet. I think the disappointment was partly due to my heightened expectations (because of the thumbnails and gifs I saw on the Steam page). If you're just looking to kill a little bit of time with a somewhat atmospheric game, go ahead and buy it - but wait for it to go on sale!

About the Game:
Immerse yourself in the unsettling, surreal reality of “The Liminal Dimension” — a psychological horror that will test the limits of your perception. In this world, there are no cheerful ducks or colorful decorations; only silence, emptiness, and endless loops leading to even more loops.
Your sole objective is to find an escape, but be warned — each turn, each corridor, may seem disturbingly familiar. Is it déjà vu, or something far more sinister? Every decision, every step, brings you closer to a solution… or deeper into this nightmarish dimension.
“The Liminal Dimension” draws inspiration from the latest trends in horror gaming, where liminal spaces become the stage for our deepest fears. As you explore these spaces, you will experience feelings of disorientation, confusion, and perhaps even a terrifying calm.
Key Features:
Incredibly Atmospheric: Liminal spaces that teeter on the edge of reality and dream, creating an immersive and eerie environment.
Déjà vu Effect: Every loop is slightly different, yet eerily familiar, heightening the sense of unease.
Linear Yet Unpredictable Gameplay: Traverse labyrinths where the boundary between past and present blurs, leaving you questioning what’s real.
Psychological Horror: Fear doesn't come from running from monsters or jumping scares - but does it really? In "The Liminal Dimension," you'll never be entirely sure if the horrors you fear are just in your head.
In Liminal Dimension, reality is not what it seems: During gameplay, you may experience an extraordinary phenomenon—a moment when time and space appear to shift, and your senses enter a state that is difficult to describe in words. One moment, everything feels normal, but suddenly, you'll sense the world around you slowing down, even though nothing has changed...
Will you find your way out, or will you be lost forever in “The Liminal Dimension”?

User Reviews
I played The Liminal Dimension and found it really eerie but interesting. The endless corridors that change just a bit every time give a strong feeling of déjà vu. The atmosphere is unsettling and the sound design is great—it keeps you on edge. But the game is quite short and doesn’t offer much new once you’ve finished it.
Give me a break. As a person who made games alone before, I'm usually lenient to one-person games and what to expect. This was terrible even for one, having some annoying bugs or overlooks. Playing with controller has this bug where opening doors may lock all your input, which would only be fixed if you paused and unpaused the game. In the level where doors were replaced by bookshelves, you could still "try" to open door if you approached. The "story" made zero sense too. Not to mention the stupid spam of like 90 achievements upon doing one single action. Save your time by not playing this.
