The message from her aunt tells Ester that her parents, whom she never met, left her an inheritance – a mansion in London. But when she goes there, it turns out that the residence is abandoned, run-down, and haunted.

A better game than the first part but barely. First of all, my recommendation is to not play the game in expert mode. There are a lot of HO scenes that are repeats, constantly. Expert mode will not show them at all, and since they are enabled with internal triggers, it makes combing every screen a chore. The plot involves time travel across 2 different locations, one small and one big. Solving some puzzles in the past sometimes affect the future which is fun and fresh in this genre. For the most part, the puzzles are ok. It's the HO scenes as usual that are not the best ones. Since the things you have to search are shuffled and selected randomly, you can sometimes get very hard challenges in the first ones, and easier items in the repeats. The plot ends abruptly, presumably to be followed in the next game. Don't play this game if you don't hate yourself enough. 70% of my time is spent on Hidden Object and I'm glad they have moved onto newer mechanics in their later games.
