About This Game

It's all about the money, you fool! Build a city, invite adventurers and give them quests, until they solve your problems... of not having enough gold! Do you know how much pet-god food costs these days? Not to mention building a city in a land besieged by monsters!

For connoisseurs of unique colony-builders, Gold Gold Adventure Gold is a mix of Cult-of-the-Lamb, Rimworld and Majesty, mixed with Black & White and a pinch of Against the Storm.

Everyone knows that adventurers do not work for free. Their loyalty lies with GOLD!
You'll have to recruit them with promises of gold or glory, and give them quests! Kill, defend, explore, and more!

Gold-thirsty adventurers will come from all corners of the world. Humans, beastmen, mothmen, undead and more may join your cause. Pick them all, or only your favorites!

Build a thriving city around a monster-filled dungeon. Create an economy based on either farming or monster-slaying, and watch as it evolves based on your actions. Whatever you choose, remember to collect your share of the taxes!

The pet you found snacking on your supplies seems to be growing more than expected. Far more. It might be wise to teach it what is right and wrong, before it grows too big to care about your opinions. Raise it, teach it spells or tricks, pet it, brush it, and if necessary discipline it. You might find that it becomes a trusted companion upon your journey!

Your units have a life of their own- they might form parties, fund their own buildings, or give each other quests. Watch your dark alleys closely!

As your adventurers clear the world of monsters, you can watch their pathetic struggle against the world. Be merciful and help them survive, get better items, and learn new skills... or feed them to your god-beast. Each level brings them one step closer towards a forbidden evolution.

I can't in good conscious recommend this game NOW. It has great art, and if you love majesty like I do you'll love where the game is going but right now it's just not enough. If you're interested in this game I suggest to wait until more major updates are drop, because right now it's just not enough yum for players. With only two 'game mode' and no campaign, this game isn't pulling its weight. Also, IF you do not like roguelike-deckbuilder-like, then this game is not for you. Pros: -Arts: The game looks great, and characters looks unique. Neutral: -Unit Variety: Right now there's enough to keep it from being bland, but not enough to be satisfying. They're not unique enough. Cons: -Buildings zone: Buildings zones felt annoying, as the ground height differences could stop you from building buildings there. The randomly spawning farms, too, can drive you insane. Oh, you're saving up that perfectly sizable place next to the barrack for your smithy/inn? TOO BAD! IT IS I, A FARM...

One of those games where I really wish steam had a 'sideways thumb' option. In it's current state, I cannot advise you buy GGAD, especially at the asking price of 20 smackers. Content-wise it feels more like something I'd expect to see a demo for on steam next fest. The inn buffs the recruitment capacity of your adventurer buildings if you construct them next to it, but some buildings don't get the buff. Does the game tell you which buildings get the buff? no. Also just so you know, you currently can't demolish structures once you place them down. It's not all bad. I can more than see the vision and with some elbow grease it could be shaped up to be a worthy (and very pretty-looking) spiritual successor to majesty. But unless you want to watch your rather pricey archer towers hit level 5 rats for 2 damage a pop (Literally any non-adventurer method of dealing damage to monsters is awful) and click on your tailor upgrades to be greeted with a blank placeholder tooltip, keep this one on...

The question everyone wants to know is "Is it worth the money?" The game is in the same vein as Majesty series. You put out "Quests" which are akin to the reward posters from Majesty, and pretty much let the AI handle the characters while you run around giving incentives. The game has an RNG element to it that Majesty lacks. When you complete some objectives you unlock "Cards" which give you perks as well as your tech tree for the play through. One game you might get Goblin heroes, another you might get Cow Paladins. You don't get to pick your heroes you want to play with, which honestly, I'm not sure I personally like. It has a very charming artstyle and everything tends to be adorable. The animations of the heroes are smooth, and fights aren't simply "Two guys standing next to each other beating on each other" like it is in Majesty. So there is a bit of a dynamic feel that other games lacked. However, in its early state there's not a lot to do. There's no storyline, no overarchin...

This game radiates charm with it's art style and direction but the lack of content in it's current state make it hard to justify the $25 price tag. I can see the game being worth that price in the future though when more updates arrive, but in its current state only buy if you want to support the devs to continue making the game.

This game is sooo much fun! it has a very specific kind of humor that just delights me every time. And even if it's still in EA with limited content, this one promises to be incredible! Can't wait to see what the devs are going to add to it next. :) Well done! Definitely recommend.

I really, really love this game. It's exactly up my alley and the kind of game I've been wanting for a while. I enjoy god games and have loved the concept of building up a town for rpg heroes. This isn't the only game that fits that description, but it is, imo, one of the better ones. I especially like the addition of the Godbeast. Btw, having a beast tamer tame rats is a great way to expand your map without spending gold on adventure quests since they just wonder around. I've gotten very attached to mine and will save them through spells whenever they inevitably get attacked by a raid of monsters.

Majesty inspired game I enjoy playing more than the inspiration. The devs seem to be eager on mixing the main majesty elements with some slice of life aspects as they call it. The aesthetic is great and their choice of voices for characters is fun and getting to watch over an anime themed town of adventurers is enjoyable for me. That said it's very much early access and some elements can be frustrating or come across as 'why does this do what it does' or 'what does this even do?' There isn't a way to remove buildings without telling your npcs to attack it but a dev said they were just going to add the tool after seeing feedback. Some info is currently not available or unfinished. My most current annoyance is not knowing why my NPCs get the status of unable to fight against the Prison Tower when it attacks them. That said, knowing it's early access and with devs communicating regularly, I would recommend buying it in it's current state if only to support the devs but I think the...

This is my first time of playing this genre, just bought this game because of art style, I really like it ! Art & Character design : + Waifu really cute ! Art is already top tier enough to make it interesting ( wanted to see more of it & maybe fanservice ;) ) Gameplay ( early access ) : = This is still like a barebone for now ? I'm never play this kind of game before, so It's enjoyable enough for during early access and waiting for more content & system to coming. = Don't have a goal set or ending as it's wave mode & endless mode ( So I just watching waifu walking and do quest lol, Is this normally for this genre ? ) = UI and tutorial still rough, so it's really hard for a new player to get used to it. Thank you for a great game, this game open my world about this genre ! Keep doing a great works. ;)
