There are better and more polished survival games out there. I keep coming back to try this thinking they've made improvements, but it's still a pretty rough game even after so many years.
While this game is fun in the beginning, towards the middle of the game it feels empty. You will not find any new items that you haven't already found. The islands are all the same, this game feels unfinished or abandoned. Plot isn't very good. The developers need to go back to the very beginning. Don't waste your money.
I bought Stranded Deep to play with a friend, but the multiplayer has serious syncing problems. After 1–2 hours, items disappear, parts of the raft don’t show up, and sometimes I can’t build anymore. We constantly have to reload the game, and even then it takes a long time for the world to sync again. This makes the game frustrating and unplayable in co-op. The gameplay itself is great, but the syncing issues made it too frustrating to continue we managed about 15 hours before giving up
Well they are refusing my refund so I am sticking it to them This game had potential it was a good way to try and make a small indie game into a competitor for other survival games. But it ends there. The rest of this is a confusing frustrating mess everytime me or my wife needed something we needed to find “leaves” And you could only find them from very specific things. And those thing do NOT come back fast. Meanwhile you’re walking around looking at a bunch of vegetation of which YOU COULD GET LEAVES FROM only to find out it’s just for looks. I tried to love it because I’ve been looking for a split screen game with my wife for ages now and I just tried to power thru it. 8 hours of playtime just made me frustrated and annoyed at the design this game had. And normally you would just say well why just go somewhere else and look for the leaves there? This place is literally nothing but islands that you have to row to to get to. And very slowly and you can’t even bring...
A complete joke in multiplayer, so far we have had major desync issues, disconnections. Items that one person places the other cannot see, food that is cooked is spoiled for the other player and a list of other bugs that could fill a terrarium. I would 100% avoid this game if you were thinking of playing multiplayer
no updates no improvements no nothing, all the islands are the same to real content or meaning to the game dont bother buying this its a waste of money
Great concept but seriously negligent coding and implementation at times. Rafts are a disaster zone in the game. Items, such as containers fall off the rafts and there is no way to attach those containers. Lazy design process? Who knows. Why has there been no patch to fix some of the problems that plague this game is beyond me.

i would not recommend playing the game stranded deep becouse it will kick you out if you play co op it disconects you
