About This Game

Welcome to The Six, a magical world where dice define your identity. You’re an adventurer trapped in a timeloop with a chaotic, impish DM. Beneath the surface, a dungeon morphs and shifts every day, hiding secrets and relics that will be the key to your escape.

Beneath The Six is a roguelike experience with a randomized daily dungeon, a brutal Arena mode and 4-player co-op. Collect sets of dice and use them to create and blend fighters, mages or rogues to beat the DM’s daily challenges. Earn rewards to unlock more dice sets, build your collection by trading with friends and, one day, perhaps, escape The Six.

Conquer The Daily Dungeon

The daily dungeon regenerates every 24 hours with new challenges, enemies, secrets and loot, and different dungeons will suit different characters. Your challenge: find the right build for today’s adventure! There is also the option to play endless random dungeons.

Collect Dice

There are over 130 unique dice sets to collect, with each making their own distinct combination of characters. Each set holds its own stats, weapons, and skills: combine them to craft diverse and fearsome adventurers. Show off your builds — and build strategies — with friends, or quest together to conquer daily and weekly challenges.

Challenges & Golden Shards

Daily and weekly challenges provide you with a way to earn our in-game currency, Golden Shards. Golden Shards can then be spent on unlocking dice sets in the dice shop, giving you access to even more character build options.

Unique Character Creator

Use your dice sets to create unique characters with differing skills, armors, weapons and stats to take on the dungeon. Each dice in a set provides a specific component to your character so you can mix and match them.

Survive The Daily Arena

Test your build in our brutal arena mode, where each wave gets increasingly difficult, with higher tiered enemies and near-impossible intensity. The arena resets every 24 hours. Compete with your friends for the top spot on the leaderboard!

Party Up And Explore With Friends

Beneath The Six supports 4-player co-op, allowing you to tackle the dangers of the dungeon and arena with backup, and show off your new characters.

The gameplay here is a ton of fun and the variety of skills seems pretty good for a game just released to early access. There weren't any major bugs and even multiplayer worked smoothly. That being said, there are two pretty major issues with the game right now: 1) There's only one dungeon and one arena available to play through per day. As a first time player it took about 4 hours to complete both of these in a 3 player co-op game, but I'd guess that if we knew what we were doing we'd be done in less than half that. After that the only options are to replay something I'd just done or wait 24 hours for something new. I'd understand if leaderboards and completing daily challenges is only available in daily missions, sure, but why limit us from enjoying more of the game at all? 2) The way new skills are unlocked for character building is by purchasing dice sets. These can be bought with in game currency or with microtransactions. Ignoring my opinions on microtransactions, especially in ...

The game definitely is what it looks like in the video preview. It's got good bones, and if the devs keep going there is a good experience too be had. Don't go in expecting Hades, or Bauldur's Gate 3. The game has a weird difficulty curve. Things seem easy, and then you're dead, and back in the pub. It all seems a bit abrupt. I've played both Dungeon and the Arena mode, and both are unique and squarely good. For under $10 bucks, it is definitely worth the cost of entry if this sort of game appeals to you. It's a simple leveled turn based loot game with dice sets that function as classes. The UI is immediately familiar. I'm not sure what's on the road-map, but it seems pretty well fleshed out for an early access title. The game has a 'dice store' where you can buy dice sets for real dollars, if that turns you off, but it's easy to avoid, so I don't mark it down much for that. It looks like you can unlock sets with achievements, but I'd recommend (if the devs are reading this) addi...

I was really looking forward to this game based on the info here on the storepage but really dismayed when I saw the dice store inside the game. I could not find any information about what is in the store vs what you can unlock by playing the game but it reallys tuns me off that you can just pay more money to get more stuff. I would much rather pay a higher intial price and then have access to all of the game. I tried it for one hour or so until the cursor disappeared on level 4 of a dungeon and when i restarted the game all progress was lost. There was definitely some bugs along the way and the balance felt off at times. There is some potential in the game so I will keep following to see what happens but for now I will refund and wait.

I've played about 2 hours so far and there are some good moments for sure, looking forward to seeing what the devs do with it going forward... would like more ways to earn dice tho, even if it means grinding a bit
