Unlike the first Bokura who was a really fun game with each character having a different vision of the world they evolve in, Bokura planet provides nothing but frustration and facepalm. The story is completly crazy and all over the place, the puzzle/enigma are so messed up that I had to look with my friend on youtube or so stupid, you don't need half of the clues given which serves no purpose and don't get me started about the babies we have to throw like a ragdoll or the clones we have to kill to make an interuptors activated. The first game was about two children going in a journey together and this one feels like a very bad scifi movie. I was sooo happy to have another Bokura game to play with my friend since we loved the first one and it was a complete dissapointment.

BOKURA:planet leans into darker themes, but it ultimately comes across as less focused and, perhaps, less emotionally invested in the delivery than its predecessor. What I loved about the original BOKURA was how it lingered in my thoughts and emotions after playing. By contrast, the sequel wraps up too neatly, leaving little room for reflection. One of the major changes is the handling of perspective: this one time, the shifts are made literal and not symbolic. However, this choice -among others- managed to make me feel detached from the story, and cold before the exclusive options given. The themes were more crude, and for this very reason they required more careful handling to acquire grip. The biggest change, indeed, lies in the story, and is where the game failed to follow: BOKURA is played by adults playing kids thinking like kids; BOKURA:planet is played by adults playing adults who couldn't effectively address the questions that were risen. But the whole point was to m...

I really liked BOKURA, but this didn't match the hype. This was a lot darker than expected, and the main characters are forced to participate in a crucial game mechanic that was later revealed to be
ACTUAL SEXUAL ASSAULT upon both the main characters and another person, and then to finish the puzzles the characters had to continue participating in that.
That made me feel really dirty. Beyond that... Everything is held together by idiot plot. If anyone communicated anything, I don't think the plot would have even happened. The endings of the first two playthroughs made no sense to me and the setups of the emotional conflicts don't have any meaningful follow-through. Not to mention nothing actually got resolved. The best part of the entire game was the good ending/True Ending, which was much lighter in tone and didn't force us through that fake-edgy "darkness" that just fell flat and was in poor taste. It briefly follows
the child and grandchild of two of th...

I really enjoyed the first game (BOKURA / 違う冬のぼくら / 不同的冬天). The bittersweet story, the music, and the way the child protagonists naturally expressed their innocence made it memorable. Despite its sadness, it had warm and touching moments that made me and my friend smile. After finishing, we still wanted to replay it. Because of that, I was genuinely excited for this sequel. I played the demo when it was released, bought the full version on launch, and kept up with updates, expecting something just as meaningful. Unfortunately, this game was a huge disappointment. The story is overly dark and meaningless, with a gloomy setting that feels cliché rather than profound. The puzzles are dull and repetitive. The game forces you into a second playthrough for the “true ending,” but there’s nothing new to discover—the experience is exactly the same. Unlike the first game, where two players had completely different perspectives that made cooperation fun and surp...

Personally, I liked the first game better, but both games are amazing. 100% worth the price, just don't play it with Ayden.

where do I start holy lore. this game is 50% dialog and 50% actual game play. the backstory makes no sense and is confusing. they don't tell you any keybindings or allow you to change them and are stuck using odd key bindings now for the game play if you like doing essentially the same puzzle that gets progressively harder this is the perfect for you! don't waste your money and 3 to 4 hrs of your life.

I enjoyed this new BOKURA game! I had a blast playing through it with a friend who lives across the globe. While the first game focuses on seeing the same world through different lenses, this one focuses on experiencing different stories within the same world. I like the art style, and the soundtrack was absolutely gorgeous. The puzzles were fun, even if some of them were quite difficult to figure out. It is true that the story is extremely dark and complicated. It was almost as if the writers had too many ideas and were trying to squeeze a whole bunch of them into too short of a game. But I will disagree with some of the moral criticisms on the game with regards to certain sensitive subject matters. To me, it is important to distinguish whether a story includes sensitive and problematic behaviours as part of the plot, or if it endorses such behaviours as acceptable within the plot. While the game definitely includes some very disturbing events, they are addressed as "wrongs" and ...

Just barely recommended. Most of the puzzles were great but the audio puzzles alone were some of the worst things I've had to deal with thanks to how annoying the audio is. Also, the world being the same for each player was a huge let down compared to the first BOKURA. Still a good game over all but if you can only get one, I highly recommend the first game over this one
