About This Game
In The Devil’s Playhouse, an otherworldly power for controlling matter and space calls to the strongest and strangest who might wield it -- intergalactic warlords and eldritch gods, under-dwellers and scholars of the arcane.
Gaming's greatest dog and rabbit sleuths Sam & Max seek the power’s ancient secrets, as manic Max gains shape shifting, teleportation, mind reading and future vision abilities for battling these foes.
The saga plays out in a surreal symphony of mayhem that gets deeper and more twisted with each episode.
User Reviews
just as good as the other Episodes (played in offlinemode)
So far my favourite episode in Season 3. It effectively showed the big changes that Season 3 had to offer compared to the other two. At the beginning, it was a murder mystery noir show, the rest of the game was classic point and click puzzle solving. The third act was pretty cool
with an egytianized city.
This episode also establishes the importance of the last one. Overall, stronger writing in this episode. It was way more fun and interesting than the last episode.
Solid! And still manages to be new and innovative!
Sound is an issue but the puzzles are fun .
Another amazing, and definitely different episode. Rather than going around just clicking as per usual, this episode begins with interrogating people in a noir fashion, having to listen carefully to their conversations and interrupt when necessary to get crucial information, using different tactics or dialogue options from previous gained clues. The latter half goes back to the classic point and click gameplay, with a complete overhaul of environments. And gambling with rats. :D
Funny.
it is funny a great Sam&Max game
