Terrible graphics. No music or sound effects outside of the graphical engine when playing games. The UI is so convoluted and overloaded that it would make the designers of Paradox games blush. Feels like using a Windows desktop application from the 90's more than it does a playing a game. But it's easily the best sports simulation game I've ever played. There has never been a franchise mode that compares to what this game offers. The simulated outcomes in the game feel very real, and offer a good balance of strategy and luck. You will have to make an effort to read between the lines of box scores and player statistics to pull the stories out of the numbers. This can be a bit confusing and overwhelming at first. But it's very immersive once you learn the ropes.

Best sports management sim. I wish you could do multiplayer on a server.
This is the perfect game if you want a very in depth baseball game and The Show doesnt scratch that itch. This brings it to the Nth degree. You customize everything as the manager of a baseball team including all the minor league affiliates. You can turn off certain rules that you disagree with and adjust progression to your hearts content. Great game will take up too much of your time.
this game has a incredibly addicting gameplay loop. the price point is worth it compared to games like mlb the show, it feels more rewarding when you find the diamond in the rough. i wish it had more of a road to the show esqe mode where you control a player till you become a manager after retirement, but that's a minor gripe. get this game is you like baseball and number watching.

It's still good. I don't touch PT anymore, but historical saves are still solid. Nothing revolutionary.
