Early in the year 1985, scientists decide to plan their most expensive expedition yet into the area surrounding ███████ ███ reef. The reason for this being that recently, a new species of fish was discovered at the very edge of a steep underwater dropoff.
While this would be incredible on its own, this is even stranger since they have ignored ███████ ███ reef for years, because of its reputation. You play as the lucky employee who gets to traverse down there! Your goal is to reach site 9, they couldn't scan that far, so it could be anything.
Call Of The Deep features gameplay inspired by modern hits like Lethal Company and Content Warning, but for a singleplayer demographic.
Each day you're dropped in the middle of a new environment, and you must explore and gather photos and video for points. Photograph anything weird and film anything that moves. Between days you can return to the hub and "chill". Any cool things you pick up will show up in the sub between trips.
When out in the field, you'll meet a plethora of friendly fellows to keep you company! Such as [Redacted as to not cause trauma to past employees]
