Felt pretty excited to try this game out and it did satisfy my expectations, visually what I expected with the old school looks to it and very nostalgic aesthetics. The movements feels very retro and in a way it's kind of charming. As for combat, it's stamina based so always be aware of you stamina bar in every battle, either swinging, blocking or parrying it will drain your stamina. Also a very interesting feature in combat is that you can slice off limbs, it can be used in a way to disarm your enemies or if you just want to send heads flying. Exploration is rewarding, if you look careful for hidden paths you will be rewarded by finding gear or new weapons for your character, and theres also a chance that the enemies you kill may drop their weapons too. Only thing I can point out is the lenght of the game, I managed to beat in in about 5 hours, but given the price is actually a pretty good deal. Overall well worth, an intertwining of osrs and kings field in one, that is well polish...

A Runescape inspired dungeon crawler that's really well made and tons of fun to play. While there are some minor bugs and i had some input not registering sometimes it was still a fun experience for that low price! can fully recommend
This game felt nostalgic while also being a very unique and unrepeatable experience. The detail that went into the characters and level design made the combat and exploration never feel stale. And you're able to play it co-op! This is definitely worth picking up!
FlyKnight is a compact yet impressively crafted indie action RPG that offers a refreshing blend of first-person dungeon crawling, Soulslike combat, and minimalist storytelling—all delivered through the lens of a quirky, insect-themed fantasy world. At first glance, its low-poly aesthetic and modest $5 price tag might suggest something throwaway or purely nostalgic, but it doesn’t take long for the game to reveal its thoughtful design and atmospheric depth. Rather than rely on scale or spectacle, FlyKnight leans into tight mechanics, eerie tone, and player-driven experimentation to deliver a short but rich experience that feels surprisingly complete. You begin the game as a tiny fly knight in a world where the ability to fly has been stolen by the cursed magic of the witch Lunamoth. From that premise alone, FlyKnight establishes a peculiar tone—a mix of bleak fairytale and whimsical body horror—that gives its world a unique identity. Dungeons are handcrafted and filled with une...
Wow what a treat Can recommend wholeheartedly, if you like soulslike first person solo/coop melee games with nice mechanics. Still playing through it, but it won me over at the start already. There are accessibility options for head bobbing, FOV and reducing animation chopping for people who have health issues for that. Love it, it feels experimental but also a solid experience. Can't wait for this Dev's next game
The graphics and audio are bad without hitting the retro feel. Combat and movement is sluggish, enemies are repetitive and uninteresting to fight. Level design is mostly linear and lacking in details that would make anything memorable.
This game is great! The atmosphere is so nostalgic. The combat and exploration are so much fun. My only complaint is that there is not more of it but for $5 dollars I can't really complain. Well worth the money.
Short and sweet, with a gloomy atmosphere and combat reminiscent of classic King's Field. Although it was fairly easy, I enjoyed experimenting with the different weapons and spells. Overall, FlyKnight hooked me for an afternoon, and I'm sure I would have enjoyed it even more with chaotic co-op. My only critique would be the difficulty. Stamina regeneration is intentionally slow, so combat is tankier and more methodical than simply spamming the same attack over and over. However, between arrows, ranged spells, and how forgiving the parry is, I never felt like my knight was in any real danger, even if I managed my stamina poorly. Still, the combat, especially the limb-breaking mechanic, is fun for what it is.
Not a bad game, but I only recommend it while it's on sale because not only is it very short (about 3 hours worth), I feel like the stamina system needs a big buff. I spent so much of this game getting knocked down - even when I successfully parried - and slugging around. The mobility could really do with tweaking as well.
very fun in coop and single player!! also very nice artstyle and combat :O) (also fishing is very fun! and the levels are nicely designed and actually reward exploring)
