About This Game

Raise the Divine Dragon You’ve Nurtured to Overcome the Catastrophe!

"DRAPLINE" is a roguelite training game where you raise a dragon girl who eats anything and train her to become the strongest in one year. With the game’s ending achievable in as little as about one hour, you can enjoy multiple playthroughs and experiment with various training strategies.

Raising the Dragon Girl

To prevent the impending World's Doom in one year, you must raise a dragon girl known as the "Divine Dragon." This food-loving dragon eats anything and transforms it into her own power. Meat, fish, rocks, iron... no, even lava, mountains, and other people's houses become fine delicacies in her eyes.

Battle Against the Catastrophe

A mysterious enemy stands in your way, intent on bringing about the end of the world. Will you fight with powerful attacks? Use defense and healing skills? Or weaken them gradually with poison? Combine over 100 different skills to create synergies and build your own unique strategy.

Your Unique Growth Through Nurturing

The Divine Dragon is a pure being, just born. It’s not only her strength you must nurture, but her heart as well. Depending on how you raise her, her appearance and personality will change over time. The people she interacts with and the way she spends her year will determine the various possible endings to the story. Ultimately, the truth behind the "calamity" may also be revealed.

However, the Divine Dragon eats "anything".
If you raise her the wrong way...

a very cute visual novel with turnbased rpg combat about raising a dragongirl and preparing her to fight an encroaching evil, by raising her stats, teaching her various skills such as attacks, buffs/debuffs, and passives, and teaching her how to behave in day-to-day life. At the time of writing, I've beaten both the base scenario and its hardmode variant, gotten all the achievements, and unlocked most of the new game+ options. The main issues I've had is that 1. there are grammatical and translation errors on an occasion (mainly typos and some food choices in a certain part of the scenario not being translated) - but the game is otherwise perfectly understandable and playable. 2. Because it's early access, there isn't a lot of content - there is one scenario that you can clear in maybe a few hours for one's first playthrough, assuming you beat it first try, and subsequent playthroughs can go much faster if you skip through dialogue you've already seen. There are things that encourage ...

This game is a rare hidden gem, If you like training system like Uma musume with a cozy & eating life with our little dragon. As this game is still in early access, so there's still have some bug and story not finished yet but it's really worth for playing ! + Great pixel art & Art style ( I love it, If it's only have a voice actor, I will love it more 30000% T_T ) + Cozy story + Nice sound track & BGM + Able to play on Steam deck ( with mouse & keyboard setting ) + English translate is great ( some little error ) - No steam cloud yet, so I can't transfer save from Steam deck Some feedback : = There still have some error dialogue like double space between word or no space ( Helloworld , Hello world , HHello world ) = Maybe added some date-sim dialogue like flirt with our little dragon or villager will be great as we live with them for 1 year but no relationship improved that much and always show repetitive dialogue except FAMILY POWER xD = As our little dragon can change appearance,...

It's a really fun game. The graphics are gorgous, the mechanics are fun and there's a few pretty interesting ideas that really make you go "wow that is so cool!". The combat system is simple and really enjoyable, and there's a ton of fun interactions to experience The main issues I would have with the game is : There's a bit too much randomness sometimes, where your dragon will misbehave in combat and force you to re-start the fight. I do not mind the mechanic being in the game, but I do believe it should be tied to her personality. I'm okay with wild dragon misbehaving in combat as a drawback, but lawful dragon shouldn't have it. Another RNG related issue is that you have no way of knowing if you will succeed at a town task, and there's nothing that seems to influence the odds of success. So your ability to train is tied to rng without player input, which doesn't feel great. Also progressing friendship with the npc's promises rewards like better quality of food items - but I ca...

She freaking ate me even though I let her do whatever she wanted; stupid brat. I do not recommend. $#!7 hurt. If you get it, make sure to not spare the rod and feed it the bare minimum cheapest rocks you find in the deepest cesspool next to the big shark (he eats lots of protein).

This comment is purely for early access. (pardon my poor English, reckon using Chinese won't have that much effect) How should I put this, this game is fun. Like, REAL FUN, for the first few (around 5) full run. Having fun trial and error through my way to learn the mechanics. Try out different builds likes the classic "build buff and hit them like a truck (or magic truck)", the "pillow fight w my enemy but they are dying to cancer" or, in my opinion, the easiest and consistent one to build, the "BIG HEALTH! BIG BLAST! HUGE DAMAGE! ". The tempo pace quite well It's easy to lost your time. I don't dare to open this game that much cuz I'm scared 2 hours will just fly through. Buy food, interact, proceed. Simple but addicting. Take time and have fun. The punishment for bad outcome isn't that big. just enjoy the ride. (or save file cheat you coward). A lovely game for sure. 7/10 Would bought this game to my friends and guilt tripping them into playing it. ...Why 7/10? Well the bigg...

This game is awesome. The artstyle is really good, the mechanics feel easy enough to pick up on and the story is *really* nice on first readthrough. As for the roguelike aspects, I believe that the game handles them relatively well, with a harder difficulty unlocked after 1st clear and some interesting things carrying over, such as
the name of the breath attack for the final boss, or the appearance of said final boss.
The 'unlocks' for completing runs could be elaborated on, but this is an early access game, and I fully believe it will be. Overall, I strongly recommend this game to anyone who wants to try it, and I hope for great things for it in the future!

This game is really great. It's very cute and the builds and events are great. I look forward to more content in full release, but I would say it's still worth the price for what is available in EA
