Hatoful Boyfriend

The steam English version of this game came out in 2014, so it's safe to say that I am extremely late to Hatoful Boyfriend. However, it has been one of those things that my mind think about once in a blue moon after a youtuber I watch never finished their let's play of it. So after five years of wondering, I finally bought the game and sat down to play. Let’s just say I was not expecting to be crying to pngs of birds at 5 in the morning after I played through the epilogue. The first half of the game is pretty simple.. you just… date birds. There is 9 characters and 14 different endings to play through. Some routes are more silly than others, take Okosan and Anghel, whilst others like Kazuaki and Ryouta are surprisingly heartfelt considering the fact that you’ve been sat trying to flirt with a bird. Just finished my first play through. Joined a sparrow biker gang and rode off into the sunset with my hot bisexual takoyaki-selling sparrow girlfriend. 10/10. Exactly as insane as it was described to me. Highly recommend. I think the hot older parakeet and the budgie with the shady past have a thing.

This is so much more than just a "joke" game. Highly recommend it.

It's a dating sim. . . with birds. . . That's it. It's silly and if you choose the right path you can do what my friend could not. His cry of despair as we beat our first run through and he screamed, [spoiler] "Wait! I wanna f*ck a ghost!!!" [/spoiler] Now, there really isn't f*cking, but, um, you may find the other thing.
