I guess for 5 bugs it is OK to take, but I refunded nonetheless. It is DarkestDungeon clone but very poor one, not many choices and decisions to be done. And those few that you can do during level up get further limited by choosing certain path. The management is done very poorly: no confirmation after skill selection during level up, selecting party via joining one but without knowing who will leave, assigning items only after quest is done - those are small things but very annoying. Description of some mechanics and skills is missing too - I guess you will eventually figure it out, but cmon, this is not the way modern tactical RPG should be approached. The rest is ok, I guess, but I was more annoyed than I had fun with the little time I spent with this game.

A bit basic in the current state, but I like gothic dark fantasy and had some fun. For the price, I recommend this for people who liked Darkest Dungeon 1/2 and don't mind that it isn't feature complete yet. I enjoyed the recruitment aspect but feel it needs to be refined a bit so it doesn't just feel like a neverending mercenary grinder. It would be cool if we could buy more of the same character with some sort of currency and level them up or something, or perhaps bring one of that unit back to life with them instead. This currency could also be used at inns and vendors to buy gear, heal, or do upgrades. Happy to support the game as it develops because it does have potential!
Nah. So far it is a cheaper version of the darkest dungeon, but worse. Worse graphics, worse art style, sound and music. Fighting mechanics is boring. Lots of stuff looks like a placeholder for something more polished. Maybe in the future it will get better but for now it is no good.
Game is wayy to glitchy to enjoy in it's current state...
Love the art direction and the combat feels fun. Haven't gotten very far yet due to time constraints but I'm very excited to see where it goes!
Not sure why this game is getting so much hate. Lots of people are stating 'because it's just like Darkest Dungeon except worse'. Yeah, super, except it's almost $20 less than the base price, in early access and not exactly the same. I really enjoyed Stardew Valley, but that didn't stop me from enjoying Kynseed. A game which is more expensive than Stardew Valley. People think a new similar experience is worse than nostalgia I guess? Protip: You don't actually have to give up nostalgia to enjoy new experiences. It's a weird concept, I know, but just try to enjoy new things. It'll be OK. Promise. Anyway, the game's only glaring flaw in my opinion is that it is a bit too difficult. I'm for roguelites etc., and I've beat about every boss in Elden Ring, just like next man. But it seems like you have to get very lucky to progress from even the first expedition. A bit too grindy for my taste, but it's still fun enough I don't regret spending $7 on it. Thought I read people saying it's awfu...
I decided to give this one a shot, it just launched to EA, and it was only ~5 dollars. First off, it is similar to Darkest Dungeon, but with some differences. You have a team of 4 heroes, each with unique abilities. You fight a group of 4 enemies, you fight against them on a flat plane. As far as I've seen, positioning in the battle itself doesn't make a difference (So there isn't any pushing/pulling enemies to change their positions). There are similar status effects and chip damage, which do seem to be the most effective means of attacking your opponents. Its different enough, but is early in development. Still, I'll support an indie dev, and will keep an eye on this one as it progresses.
