An irritating game with surprisingly well thought platforming. The hard to grasp mechanics become second nature with time and then you can really enjoy coming up with solutions. It's crazy to see a spinning stick can have this much variation in motion. Falling down after clenching your butt cheeks for 30 minutes straight is an experience that makes you question all your life choices. It's almost as if Halo 2 met Halo 3.
it looks way better than demo. i hate the 1-bit slimes its hard to see and confused me. tutorial is short, easy to learnbut you need to master mechanics by falling over and over.

very cool music, satisfying sound effects and interesting artstyle mixed with a gameplay mechanic that demands you to git gud. not my type of game normally, but i could see myself having fun playing with my friends and race to the top. would definitely recommend if you're into challenging games!
This game has a lot of potential. The mechanics of the game are smooth which makes the gameplay fun, but it can get frustrating when you sometimes fall all the way down from a hard part you just completed. I get that it is supposed to be hard, but since there isn't a certain guide or tutorial in the game (except the begining) that allows you to master the techniques to pass certain harder levels repeating the same levels over and over can get boring. Nonetheless, I would recommend others to at least give this game a try for I think they won't be disappointed with the idea behind it. Especially the things you can do in multiplayer are exciting.

Stick It! is extremely enjoyable if you play locally with friends, and it’s a chill experience if you play alone (unless you fall down)… The game mechanics revolve around turning a stick and how fast you can spin it. While it may look simple, mastering it is not so easy. If you enjoy games like Getting Over It, you should definitely give this game a try.
