About This Game

Step into the tiny paws of a mouse spending the weekend at home with a dysfunctional Dad while Mom's away. Be on your best behavior and KEEP DADDY HAPPY.

You all live together. You, Dad, Mom, Brother, and the rest of the demons. Try not to cause problems so you don't have to be punished.

Scrub, sweep, clean, make fries, kill spiders, bring Daddy his pills—essentially, be a good kid.

Explore the house and look for treats and action figures scattered around. This might be the only fun part about living here.

Visit various parts of the house, face difficult situations, and experience the gruesome reality of a child-mouse trying to maintain a sense of normalcy in an abnormal household.

I was very excited for this game to come out. I played the demo and even had it wishlisted. However, after beating, just feels lack luster. There really is not substance to it. The art style is fantastic! I love this 2D 1920's vibe and style. The issue was with gameplay. Some parts were just incredibly hard (the demon on the boat) and the bathroom hallway was LONG for no reason. I thought there would be more to it but there really isnt. Also the ending? Wtf was that? Made absolutely no sense to the game and just felt like they needed to add something to release it. I wanted to like this game... but should ended the game with "meh." Maybe the game wasnt for me and that okay but like it needed more. The mouse also has a dead spot so just be mindful when you go to play. Dont purchase the game thinking its gonna be super scary and filled with jump scares because its not.

Damn, I really wanted to like this one. I was quite excited upon seeing the trailer and wish-listed it too. Welp, a day after release and I've beaten the game in three hours. It's a quite a short experience, and while the art and assets do a lot of good for the game... there's just no meat to back it up. No reason to keep playing after finishing it the first time. The game is technically rough, and sound /visual glitches are common. The game controls stiffly and doesn't feel satisfying. There was a lot of potential here, but ultimately it was squandered on an ambiguous story and strange gameplay decisions that hold the experience back. Wait for a sale if you want to try it.

This game started with a great concept and fantastic art and then they had no idea how to make a functioning game. Everything from the movement, to the audio and the "combat" are all broken and barely playable. Just wanted it to end after about 20 mins. No need to make this game any longer than like 45 mins MAX.

Game feels like dead air. Mouse movement also has a deadzone, so you have to move X speed in order for the mouse to even register movement. Can't recommend yet. Refunding for now.

Nice horror for what it is. Lovely style, decent story. Maybe it's just because i love this kind of Disney based creepy stories. But i would recommend it anyway.

I believe this game is straight ASS (respectfully) the art style and soundtrack is straight up fire because it was generally haunting, but oh my god not only was it super boring game play, there was only one time where i jumped in fear. also the sound of digesting of chips and sausage is generally so hilarious so in general this game was CHEEKS (respectfully)

Bad Cheese is Mickey Mouse on acid—a seven-year-old mouse trapped in a 1920s cartoon nightmare where nothing is as cheerful as it seems. You play as Keymick, trying to survive under the watch of a grumpy, unpredictable dad while mom is away. Every task is tense: fry fries, kill spiders, bring Dad his pills… miss one, and you face a storm of cartoon rage that could ruin your tiny mouse life. The world wiggles and stretches like it’s made of Jell-O, the music and sound design are hauntingly nostalgic, and every corner hides either a secret toy or something profoundly unsettling. It’s cute and chaotic, whimsical yet horrifying, and full of moments that make you laugh, scream, and question why you agreed to be a mouse in the first place. Playing Bad Cheese is like stepping into a fever dream of childhood cartoons—where innocence meets trauma, chores are survival, and every wiggly rubber-hose arm could betray you at any second.

This has got to be one of the worst, most boring horror games I have ever played. It's what happens when an idea is just overdone and its just not "scary" or "creepy" anymore, even worse, it's not funny anymore. I've never so badly wanted an experience to end this badly as to play through this game from start to finish.

So it took me 2 hours to beat the game. Not 100%. Mostly an easy game with an interesting story. If you are looking for a game with jump scares this is NOT the game but it is definitely an unsettling scene throughout the whole game. Overall I do recommend the game because it was definitely interesting and a change of pace from normal horror games.

Well, it's a lot better than I expected, but it's definitely being held back by the forced need to capitalize on Steam Boat Willie now being in the public domain. The developer has apparently been working on this one on and off for about ten years and it strikes me as a game that decided to ape classic rubber hose era Disney really late in development when the game was already mostly finished. Which is a shame as there is an enjoyable little funhouse horror title here that would've been a lot better if it had the confidence to do it's own thing rather than act as a forced parody. Worth a playthrough but nothing special.
