白猫冒险团 White Cat Adventure Team

Overall a pretty fun game. The encounter rate is like twice as high as it should be but it didn't bother me too much my mental adjusted. The music and art are great. I don't think the compositions are the dev's own which is fine but I wish there were sources in game for where the music comes from since it's excellent. Also the character writing is kinda amazing. I wish there was way more of it but what's there is genuinely interesting to read, even with the scuffed translation. I had a lot of fun and can't wait for more games from the dev.

Best 3 dollars I've ever spent. This is an RPG that will feel both familiar and different to avid RPG players. The game starts you off with only 1 character and 3 different areas to explore in any order you choose. Each time you defeat the boss in an area you'll get another party member until you end up with all 4. When your whole team is assembled the game further opens up and you'll be able to once again choose which areas to tackle first and in which order. The game is balanced so that you won't end up facing enemies too strong for you to handle at too early of a point in the game. However, there ARE enemies that will challenge and push you to spend turns efficiently in combat. At first your characters won't be capable of much but as your party learns more skills you'll have so many options in combat that I'm extremely certain that no 2 playthroughs of this game could ever look the same.
