Dear Developers, I have chosen your game for the 1000th review. Your game is very adorable and really pleasant to read. The characters are cute and the soundtrack helps make it all feel delightful. I also didn't expect there to be some VA (Voice Acting), as well as an Opening Intro! It was all very well done. Albeit the story is short and has only one choice (phew!) -> I felt cozy and fluffy whilst enjoying it. If you ever wish to make a continuation or another story, I'll be more than happy to stick around and find out what else you have to offer. Thank you and congratulations on a job well done! :D :> (P.S. When you go to "Save" the game, there are already three existing save points. One of them is in Russian. I didn't touch them and used my own Save in the fourth slot... This is just a heads up.)

A short but sweet Otome visual novel. Despite it's length (less than an hour) and (reasonable) price point, the production values are very good, sporting attractive character designs and full voice acting aside from the main heroine. While I wish it had been a bit longer to have a chance to flesh things out more, I appreciate that it did not have time drag. Given the short length, it's really hard to talk about the plot without spoiling everything, but this is a romance between a fashionable young woman and the shy guy she works with a corner store. At no point does the story ever explain why it's called Melty Amethyst.
Cute but very short
"Nothing ever happens," the visual novel. The protagonist Watarai is a part-time worker at a convenience store. One day, she gets a new coworker, the shy-but-handsome Hiiragi. They talk and get to know each other;
their boss says their store will close in a few months; at their closing party, Hiiragi confesses to Watarai, and they enter into a relationship.
That's it. Nothing interesting happens; it's just a paint-by-numbers romance story stripped down to its bare essentials. And that's not to mention the stilted prose; the English translation reads like a machine translation edited by a non-native speaker. Overall, while not awful, I can't say Melty Amethyst was worth the not-even 30 minutes I spent with it. 4/10
This game is so perfect and adorable! It has a music video and an ending video plus great art, short and to the point story that is super realistic, a relatable heroine, a good setting for the story, and a truly romantic/super handsome hero. Nobody is too young so it's not unrelatable and it's interesting that the heroine has unique aspirations and is such a hardworker/kind/not a pushover. Great game! 10/10. It's a little short but that's the charm - the high production values, good writing, good art, good music, good voice acting, and is a solid game at the price. Loved it! Will remember it fondly. I feel filled with happy butterflies. That was was so sweeet!
A short, feel-good VN. I absolutely loved the art and character design. CGs were very cute, and the voice-acting was very nice, a pleasure to listen to. It's a simple story, and in my opinion, quite realistic when it comes to streamers and streaming experience in Japan. The relationship between the characters is quite sweet and endearing, both main characters and side characters. It warmed my heart to see how kind and supportive Hana and manager were. I love that there was no major drama or scandal around Nao's and Hotaru's relationship. This game definitely delivered a pleasant, light-hearted story and was good at it, although I wish we learned more about what Hotaru did after the shop closed. We learned about Nao's future plans, but Hotaru felt like she kinda was left in a limbo in that regard. The translation felt a bit off sometimes, but was overall fine and didn't hinder the pleasant experience much. Thank you for the game!
Happy that this game is finally in English! Been interested in it for a long time. Thanks. The game has met my expectations.
Melty Amethyst By Miniature Fluer Translated & Published by VNka I did buy my Steam copy (It was $3, I bought it the day it released), but the dev did offer me a free copy to give to a friend and another copy to do a twitter giveaway. Melty Amethyst is an otome with 4 CGs and 2 endings. It is set in Japan and it is about Hotaru and Nao’s romance after they meet while working at a convenience store. Overall I did enjoy the game, but it is pretty short like 1 hour to get through both endings short. Usually I like to get an hour per $1 outta my games to feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth, but ultimately even thought I didn’t get that amount of gameplay, I do feel like I got my money’s worth. The game is short, but it’s really solid. It’s a cute fluffy romance with good art (sprites & CGs & BGs), and it is fully voiced. You are mainly paying for the translation costs, which I’m okay with because it does not look like they used machine translation which has ...
The english is rough, and in some places the dialog doesn't make sense - I think all of it was just thrown into google translate. The controls are unlike most VNs I've played, and thus uncomfortable. There was only one choice (1 interact-able part of the game). When I saved, there were already other files, one of which was in a whole other language I neither speak nor read??
Very simple, short, and sweet. I enjoyed it!
