About This Game

Korter 1996 is an exploration of loneliness in a point and click adventure game. You can organise and decorate your new apartment and go on expeditions to other people's homes to find more items. While exploring different apartments on the block, you get to solve puzzles that will lead you to more information on each of the inhabitants. How you interact with the items in their apartments will move forward their story and through item dialogues you get to know about their lives.

Interesting game, love the art. Plays just fine. It's a quiet game, which I enjoyed. The way the stories are told is interesting and fun. Not much else to say. Was just a nice, relaxing game that didn't take too long. I feel the length is just fine.

What a lovely little thing this was! Focused on what it wanted to do with its personalities and light-but-engaging puzzles. I never got stuck but it wasn't so brainless I didn't have to think and pay attention either. I like the specificity of place and time; it felt both familiar and unfamiliar. In contrast to other games about arranging and collecting I've played, I like how it mixed the sweet [i]and[/i] the sinister. The ending is brief but a provides a gentle little "aha!" moment

The game design is interesting, but the puzzles are hard to figure out and not intuitive at all. I stopped halfway through because it was just too frustrating.
