About This Game
You are a rat. You must climb.
Reach the top, claim the cheese!
In Rat Climber, you only have one goal: reach the top of the world.
You must navigate vertical labyrinths and make daring jumps, but be careful; one false move and you go tumbling down.
No Collectibles
- Just climb and explore! But there may be a secret cheese in each zone, and something special might happen upon finding them all...
Every object has exact collision
- If there's a small hole, you can probably fit inside. A 3 inch ledge? You can stand on it, Ratty! Start thinking like a rat.
There are no power ups or skills
- There are only 3 controls: Jump, dash, and walk
The dash lets you jump farther and slightly higher
The walk allows for precise movement and prevents you from walking off of ledges
If you fall, there's a chance you could recover progress from a recovery path, or land in a previous zone below you, but it's not guaranteed!
Can you guide Ratty to the top of the world and reach cheese heaven? Try your skills in the best 3D ratformer ever made!

User Reviews
im not writing this as a shitpost, this is genuinely a really good game. It is simple, and well designed. Was fun took about 9 hours to 100% it, now im speedrunning it and there is great built in support.
I happened to learn about this game from a random crew member. Its honestly a solid game. Easy to control, not too punishing on average, and relatively easy to get into. The comment about "no collectibles" isn't entirely true as this game does have secret cheeses to find and collect. Otherwise, the game is as advertised.
Parkour is well blended into the environment. Rat is funny.
It is what it is
Cute game, it's obviously a labor of love and the animations, environment and controls feel great. Biggest con right now is lack of save points; I spent about an hour getting through the first 2 sections only to learn that that's only 1/4th of the game. Quitting puts you back at the start meaning you'd have to put in multi-hour sit through probably to get to the top. Fun game otherwise though.
fun simple game but it really needs a saving system. if you exit the game, you lose all progress
