Gourds up is a Weapon Combining Twinstick Roguelike. You will progress through runs by choosing the next rooms that you will fight in, allowing for more strategy during the run. Players will go through decks of cards fighting through many vegetable based enemies, to beat all of the bosses and achieve victory.
Get random weapons and upgrades, and just don't die!
As Cinnamon the Pumpkin (And Friends) you will be given sets of cards, which transport you to different hand crafted rooms full of enemies that you will have to beat all of to progress and reach harder and harder rooms. As you go through the runs you will find different types of weapons and gain different types of upgrades to make different loadouts and beat all of the bosses.
Each Weapon is able to be combined into each other, adding unique effects and adding an extra layer to all of your builds.
However, don't die, because doing so will send you straight back to the start.

gourds up is a really good game for replayability and content, the music and gameplay are smooth and i found it quite fun to play
As of 22nd of August 2024, a very short but charming game, a lot of cute enemies and fun upgrades and guns you can combine to get broken synergies, if you like any rogue-like, I HIGHLY recommend this short but well worth game.
If I must give you one single piece of advice, it would be to never overestimate the length of the dash ;-;
A small, but INCREDIBLY charming roguelike. Tons of effort put into every corner, the art is top tier, and the entire aesthetic just feels really cozy. Can't wait for updates, cuz I DID kinda beat the final boss on my second run lol
I really like this game even though personally I don't actually care for rougelikes. The controls on keyboard are simple, I had my BF use the controller because they were hard for me as someone who doesn't use one often VS my bf who uses one near-daily; He compared it to Dungreed. So if you like how that game feels you'll like this! The art style and sounds are very satisfying, I personally like that the music is kinda atmospheric rather than obnoxious since I have to really focus to play (again I don't play this kind of game often). I haven't gotten to a boss yet, but from what I've seen the fights look very well done! I recommend, and for the price why not try it out?
About an hour so far and im having a great time. Love the design and gameplay. The weapon upgrade system allows for some broken guns so its fun to mix and match. Love coming back and playing for a bit!
A really fun and simple rougelike, aking to Enter the Gungeon! It has a cool weapons cobemntation mechanci that adds a nice variety tha n the just "throw away you worst gun"
For how small this game is, it is incredibly good. I would even go as far as to say that it is better than many of the mainstream games people play nowadays.
