I'm usually not into metroidvanias. This one won me over with the intro video. It's a delightfully cute and simple concept. You are Kirby. Go find the stuff so you can cross the bridge and beat up the guy who took all the food. Each area you go through gives you a different power. ALL of the powers have some overworld use to a degree, there's none that's useless outside of the area you got it in. The music is great. It FEELS great. It's not super tough, but it's not meant to be. It's short and sweet, but you get that nice feeling of progression with each of the big stuff things you find along the way. It's a blast, get it.

A really fun and charming game! Despite the simple presentation and mechanics, Buffet Knight has a full world with solid dungeon design, fun puzzles, and clever gags. There was never a point where I felt like I was running on autopilot or bored, there was always something to do or a secret to uncover, and the dungeon level designs are intuitive and engaging. (And to those of you who solved that final puzzle, hats off and thank you for writing a guide! xD) The world itself is charming, with a lot of silly gags that aren't worried about being the punchline. I legit laughed when I turned the corner and saw the lemon battery generators. Overall there's a lot of good attention to detail, even letting you [spoiler]take the premise to its natural conclusion should you choose to[/spoiler]. If I had one small design criticism, it's that it's very easy to become OP very early, negating almost all challenge from combat, due to getting the heart recover early + being able to unlock the expand...

This game is really fun, Its like a kirby/zelda mashup that has clever puzzles that helps you get through the challenges. So far everything has been a joy, from the whimsical story, to the boss battles. Graphically the worlds is easy on the eyes and very charming all in all. This is a true hidden gem , highly recommend.
