The use of AI is abundant and disappointing. This game is so much fun and has potential to be great. The new updates are fun, until you start to notice the amount of AI used. Nothing is more disappointing than a good game, with a lot of its own creativity be dumbed down by lazy ai images. I hope this game does better in the future. I recommend this game, only because before the new updates with Ai was fun. I wish for this game to remove its Ai and be better, but for now it’s only good.

The Headliners has a great concept. Turning photojournalism into a co-op survival challenge is clever, and the atmosphere is strong when the chaos hits. The problem is the pacing and variety. The trailers showcase big, cinematic monster moments, but in reality those happen fleetingly. Most of the time runs feel slow and empty, and the gameplay loop doesn’t really evolve past “find danger → take picture → extract.” The fun burns out quickly, and it starts to feel repetitive after just a few sessions. For £6 you can’t really complain, but there are other similar games in the same price range that have a bit more to them and hold attention longer.
great to play with a friend group, honestly a great time and hours of laughter similar gameplay loop to lethal company but more goofy and less difficult this game didn't get the attention it deserves yet
It's okay, more funny than scary and it led to some memorable moments with my friends. But it is deeply flawed, and it won't give you the same thrills or replay value as Lethal Company before it. - By the time you leave the maze segment, you will find monsters outside and soldiers fighting them, with cars getting flung around and explosions going off everywhere. These chaotic moments are WAY more fun to photograph and navigate through than the maze, which has both less varied and less cohesive enemy design. Frankly, I think the game should have been designed around these moments, not the mazes. - There isn't much to spend money on apart from healing items and better cameras, the latter of which are the most important money sinks. The lack of options leads to a lack of counterplay against most of the indoor monsters apart from: Step 1. pray you don't get oneshot, Step 2. heal up after it decides to leave you alone. - The human models are not good. They look like RCT3 peeps which clash e...
It was a great game with some problems. The devs announced a major may update and I was happy. I thought they would make it even better. But no, it got worse, now it's unplayable What I noticed within ~3 hours of playing after the update: - now you can only go into one building instead of two - the camera you hold in your hands flies in the air - and of course the duplicate system, it's just a nightmare. The last time I played with friends, my friend stuck in the lobby, he re-entered, a little later it stuck for me. I understand, closed the process in the task manager and deleted the game. Thanks for the positive emotions before the update, it was really cool and fun, but now it's impossible to play
it gets boring super fast even in a full stacked lobby with friends
The game recently added a lot of profanity, and unfortunately, there's no way to turn it off. I used to love playing this with my family, but I can no longer recommend it.
📸 Gameplay Mechanics - Core Loop: Teams of 1–4 players explore open environments and creepy interiors to capture unique horror shots. You’re scored based on originality and shock value. - Press Pass System: Fail to meet your photo quota three times, and your team loses its press credentials—forcing a full restart. - Photo Strategy: Duplicate shots don’t count, so players must constantly adapt and seek new angles, monsters, and moments. - Gore as Gameplay: Severed limbs, explosive deaths, and monster attacks aren’t just hazards—they’re photo ops. You can even pose with body parts for bonus points. 🧟♂️ World & Atmosphere - Monster Design: From giant T-Rexes to grotesque humanoids, the creature variety is impressive and often hilarious. - Environment: While the outdoor areas are rich with action, indoor zones currently lack incentives, making exploration feel uneven. - Immersion Touches: Proximity chat includes mouth movement and eye-tracking, adding subtle rea...
neat concept but the novelty wears off quickly, at least lethal company has mods to make it more palatable
Whether it is solo or with friends, The Headliners is a spooky and fun time! Take pics, but beware the danger lurking around every corner.
