OH. MY. GOODNESS! I'm usually not a fan of Visual Novels, but this one takes every cake in the bakery. The characters are adorable, the writing is so special, and the plot gripped me by the throat and would not let me go until I finished it. It's a tense story about lucid dreams with real-life consequences, with a protagonist Sonny that is used to being rejected by other people and suffering through his problems alone. But the context of the story is a charming town full of caring and unique people who want the best for Sonny and vice versa, even if they don't really know him. Sonny approaches people like they are explosives who haven't gone off yet, and picks apart every smile and compliment, not from bitterness but genuine surprise. I was so moved and engaged by this story seeing them come together into an organic community where Sonny actually belongs, where exchanging care is a given and his presence is truly wanted. About This Game
For the first time in years, Sonny meets a person he knows inside of his lucid dreams: a boy from his school who Sonny has never spoken with in real life.
Over the next few days, not only other people known to him appear in his dreams, but Sonny also realises that the things he said and did were reflected in real life. Now, divided between the events and experiences of real life and those that happen inside his lucid dreams, Sonny oscillates between living an ordinary life and in using his dreams to discover, understand and help the people around him.

Good story, very engaging characters.
The game is absolutely amazing! The art is beautiful, with a wide variety of styles, and each one is more stunning than the last. I was genuinely blown away by how rich the visual experience is, both in quality and quantity. The storyline is engaging and flows so naturally that I found myself losing track of time while playing. Every part of this game shows an incredible level of attention and passion. You can tell it was made with genuine love and dedication. Highly recommended! :D
Lucid dreaming is something people often strive for. But what if your dreams had consequenses in the real world, specially over other people, like someone getting hurt or even dying? Without giving spoilers, I can say that Dare to Lucid Dream have an engaging story, likeable characters, multiple endings and great soundtrack/visuals.
The story short but sweet. The characters are very likable. The music really soothing and comforting. I am weak against horror, there's many times that I am scared to move forward but in the end "I dared to Lucid Dream". Wish there's romance though
