Very empty for now and the last update goes all the way in the wrong direction, adding meta progression, slowing the beginning of the game even more. Can't be recommended in that state.

User Reviews
The game used to be good, but with the recent changes I can't say it's balanced to well anymore. The game is slower and buying nodes costs way to much. They reset progress which I can understand with all the changes but I kinda of wish they had gone about it a different way. An example for something I feel costs way to much is "ForceEachUnitinRange" for 2K? so a modifier for something else costs 2K while something that does damage is 1K?, thats 3K you have to invest just to do range attacks and it will take you about half of a level to collect that 3K from collecting nodes and from getting lucky and getting the money token.
It is not fun. It is slow, it is repetitive, it gives you no space to experiment (parts are way too expensive), it punishes you for wrong choices (you cannot sell missread or wrongly understood or just unfitting parts). I wish I did not play out of refundable time.
Older beta version took me less than 2 hours to complete everything (max rank, all achievements, all tutorial levels). Aug 2025 update slowed the progression by a lot (which was needed heavily) and gave some roguelike additions (black market upgrades between games). It has the teeth it needed before. Current issues (beta): • Upgrades are quickly fully purchased, meaning after ~7 hours there's nothing left to do beyond unlocking rank levels (completing maps) and nothing at all to progress after that. IMO this would be better with slightly higher base (core, non-upgraded) starting values and infinite (diminishing returns) level-ups for the different purchases. • 2 achievements appear to be unattainable (snake-like and minesweeper-like mini-games based on the names? I can't find these anywhere) • 30-minute challenges over-spawn in the last 7 minutes; not only are they spawning the highest level "boss" units every 2-3 seconds but there's so much mass spawn the game will lag....
Just trying to complete the daily challenge is impossible. The amount of enemies in the last few minutes is so high that building code to deal with them sufficiently will crash your fps and get you killed.
Fun and simple but as complex to execute as your creativity and logic allow!
