It took 1000 hours, but I've finally reached an enlightenment where I can play this game, and have fun regardless of if I do well or not. The learning curve is shaped like a tesseract though, and if you don't have a friend to teach you how to play, don't let playing this game even cross your mind.
If you want to play a game that can ruin the rest of your day within 15 minutes For Honor is for you It will also replace severe alcohol addiction entirely
Had 1100 hours in this game back in the day. Quit once pirate dropped, like many others. Re-downloaded just to see if it was any good now that they've had a few years to figure their lives out. Same gripes are still prevalent. Hey Ubisoft, how about we stop releasing new broken heroes and start focusing on reworks and balances. Giving everyone a dash light does not over come the perpetual light chain, followed by bash, followed by light chain, followed by bash tornado that this game is now. I STG my camera spins in about 30 circles every fight I get into and I lose all spatial orientation sitting in my office chair. Hey Ubisoft, how about we focus on making game modes that aren't cancer. I love waiting 4 minutes at 5:00 pm to get into a breach match to mix things up only to be ganked by pikeman and officers while I'm fighting off 2 berserkers and a shugoki that hasn't eaten in 3 hours. Fr tho, your options are 1v1, 2v2, domination. Anything else is infuriatingly repetitive, super l...
Such a unique gamestyle and a huge selection of heroes, This game has given me such a new experience in a game and It's even better with your homies. I promise button mashing is ok for the first little bit as you get the hang of it. The skill curve is one of the most satisfying feelings once you get fully used to every hero and the controls. This game is a 10/10 and will always remain so. The fact that you're able to get into a game INSTANTLY as a 7+ year old multiplayer game should speak for itself.
I think a lot of the community is jaded and generally complains about new things whenever they come out, like the new Italian lady. Make no mistake, this is just one of the many instances of the new kind of italophobia that we see in our times. First it was people starting to call Italians Fredos, as pointed out by distinguished Italian Chris Cuomo, then it was this community calling Virtuosa pasta lady. This is basically just the n-word for Italians, and I for one wont stand for it. I am giving this game a positive review to stand against italophobia!! It's also a fun game
A good game but way too frustrating to recommend to anyone. Matchmaking is also not good anymore due to low player population. Stay away unless you enjoy suffering.
Absolute waste of time and money. New player pool, or anyone under like 300 hours, is small as hell. Every game will have at least one no-lifer/smurf ruining the match for everyone else, preventing you from even being able to learn anything in the process. Classic case of a community gatekeeping a game and are all 'shocked pikachu face' when their playerbase keeps dwindling.
I kicked a hole in my wall and my blood pressure is a steady 160/80. 10/10 would recommend if you want to end up in a pyschward
I have 1200 hours on an another account and I hate this game, with that said I cant stop playing it so... Highly recommended,i guess...
