About This Game

Cut down hordes of enemies automatically in Nomad Idle, a spin-off of Nomad Survival. Engage in an expansive storyline, make impactful decisions, and grow stronger through various gameplay features that gradually unlock as you progress.

Nomad Idle is an idle game with a defined end and is not designed to be endless. However, that does not mean the game is short or lacks depth. In Nomad Idle, you can expect to have access to the following as you play through the game and unlock more features:

  • Level up and earn Stat Points which may be distributed within 7 unique Stats, allowing you to create a build.

  • Discover, craft, and upgrade Equipment in order to make yourself stronger.

  • Conjure Summons to aid you in battle.

  • Select Passive Skills to be automatically used in battle, further defining your build.

  • Choose a Character, defining your active abilities and special perks for your playthrough.

Nomad Idle is an idle game, meaning that it mostly plays on its own. Your character moves and attacks enemies all on their own, but it can be played actively by making use of character-specific skills and abilities. Playing actively in this way is entirely optional and not mandatory, but can be effective in speeding up your progress or help you overcome challenges.

I mean is a idle game. I don't expect to much except that the fact that the last achievement takes so much time that it make me feel like i am never going to get it done once the exp reach a certain level and there is no more buff or bump even it I reset the character. other than that is interesting to get through a level and upgrade all the skill to clear certain stage. I will give it a 3 stars because of the design +1, the game play style +1, affordable +1 -1 for almost meaningless time wasting grind for last achievement. -1 bad growth rate regardless of the adjustment the made previously, the balance still bad for certain class and skills.

13 hours in, and I don't really know the point of the game. It's really just idling (duh..), but without a clear objective. You are forced to work through the Beastiary nonsense to get more stats to overcome some maps/stages. Pets seem to be pretty pointless (based on the dps values from the counter) 99% of the time, you're just leaving the game open. The auto-Beastiary thing is super inefficient since it stops at the earliest stage/wave the mob appears in and farms the objective to completion, and not in the latest wave. Stopping in the latest wave allows you to potentially farm 2 mob types at the same time, instead of just one. This means that manually adjusting the wave/stage every 10-15mins makes it go at least twice as fast. There are some waves where 3 things spawn at once, so there are significant time savings to be had by (annoyingly) manually adjusting the waves. This makes the whole "auto" beastiary process pretty annoying. Overall, a hard pass for me. Mind you, I have ...

Awesome idle game. More than is typically in the box for this style of game as well. I am hopeful that the developer will circle back to either expand on this product (DLC) or start work on Nomad 2. Bottom line, with Nomad Idle, The Fox Knocks has nailed the formula to fun and addictive idle games. Very much recommend!

Used to work fine on steam deck but is now a mess. No scroll capabilities anymore and ascension overlays on top of other menus.

Great idle game with solid progression systems. Watching the game play is oddly mesmerising.

I may only be just short of a day into running this idler, but already the writing of each 'event' has me delighted. They're vivid and interesting, exploring dark and intense ideas. And I suspect this may bother some, but they animate the text, sometimes with wiggles, sometimes they change the colors, and it works to emphasize how you should be reading and/or interpreting the words and I'm a big fan of that sort of lateral expression. And I still haven't even put in a day and this is an idler, so if you're into idlers and like reading, I can't recommend this enough. At least, so far.
