It Actually gives more weight to the game that it was realised now and not then. For you see is it a life changing game? No. Is it enjoyable game? Depends. Why? You see if this were to be realiesed back in the day 15 years ago it would be a passable game. Nothing special one of many. But since this was realiesed now that game like this are not made enymore this game feels fesh in a way. Like a smell of something that you havent eaten in years. If toy were to eat a dish like this every day the taste would become stale fast. But since its beem so long there that satysfaction of having it once again. So yea want to feel like in the 2010ish? Play it. Dont want to? Dont. Simple as.

Captain Blood 2 when? This game rocked. It took 19 years to come out and this is a game of the year contender for sure. Reminds me of playing games like Ninja Gaiden and God of War when I was a kid. I hope this inspires a Renaissance of Action Games in the Hack N Slash Formula

Probably never again but Captain Blood truly gives us a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the greatest era in gaming possibly for the final time. Captain Blood is a game that was developed for the Xbox 1, then moved to the 360, until it was ultimately cancelled in 2010. by some stroke of pirate luck the game has finally been released this year & everything you know and love from that era is preserved. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Not only does this game shine in all the ways the 2000s did, it brings all the bad with it too. I'm talking horrible boss fights, some mechanics that barely work & QTEs QTEs QTEs. In fact I don't even know if someone who didn't play games in the 2000s would be able to handle Captain Blood, so much of the challenge I was able to overcome solely based on 20 year old muscle memory, but with every negative, there was a whole lotta positives...
