watching tv is fun. it is a disturbing game but good

I don't think it does the subject matter any justice - remotely; but otherwise interesting production.

[h1]Surprisingly Good Ideas for a Decent Game[/h1] The Hole initially intrigued me with its premise of “no cheap jumpscares, just visceral depiction of psycho horror and domestic abuse.” I went in with pretty low expectations: a 3€ game from devs I had never heard of (especially with them calling themselves Bobr Bros) didn’t exactly scream excellence. But sometimes small indie titles like this turn out to be hidden gems. Would I consider The Hole such a gem? Honestly, I’m not sure. It’s very short, maybe too short. The game doesn’t really give you enough time to get to know its characters, which makes certain twists in the story feel less significant than they should. I generally enjoy short games, but this one could have used maybe another hour to really let it sink in. The writing is good overall, though it stumbles in the smaller details. Very creepy & fun game. The art style, story & themes were all well done & made for an interesting & effective horror game. I liked the Slavic setting a lot too since it's not something I'm very familiar with, & thought it worked really well as a horror game setting. Also, it's not exactly a horror game in the traditional sense. Although it does include very creepy parts & horror elements, I'd describe it as much more psychological and disturbing than straight-up horror. It's a unique game that was thought-provoking & deeply unsettling. It definitely had me thinking a lot after completing it. It was also cool how it had certain elements that connected it to It's Just A Prank, & I enjoyed finding the little easter eggs as well. I can't wait for the next game by Bober Bros.
