This game is weird. I have about 30 hours but I can't remember anything from it. The story and the characters are so forgettable it feels like a Netflix movie. You assassinate the contracts without knowing anything about them. Also - why does he have super powers? This game made me try The Witcher 3 for the 1st time. And I am thankfull for that.

6.3/10 Solid effort in parts, but not enough innovation or emotional impact. It's not bad just meh. Not worth full price unless you're a hardcore AC fan craving that old school stealth.

This game is short, very clearly was originally meant to be a DLC, and should've stayed that way. It is absolutely not worth full price, but is worth picking up on sale, because after many years, I finally felt like I was playing an Assassin's Creed game again, playing as an assassin. It felt like a blend of the original Assassin's Creed games, with some of the newer RPG elements, a perfect blend.
Assassin's Creed Mirage ★★★★★★★⯨☆☆ [7.5/10] ☀︎
Intro AC Mirage is refreshingly short, which is a welcome change from the massive scale of some recent entries. Progression is alright, the story is above average, and the setting is cool. Combat was fun and challenging, there is an hardcore mode - not that I usually enjoy that, but I got through it and completed every achievement, including Ubisoft's challenges. As usual, the landscapes and graphics are gorgeous. This time, the gameplay is more stealth-focused, which I appreciated. Overall, I enjoyed my time in this game more than Valhalla, with tighter pacing and satisfying mechanics. PROS: - Shorter, more focused experience - Fun and challenging combat - Stealth-focused gameplay is well implemented - Gorgeous landscapes and graphics - Every achievement and Ubisoft challenge can be completed - Tighter pacing makes it feel way more cohesive than Valhalla ...

The game is monotonous and boring. It is immediately obvious that this game was supposed to be another Valhalla DLC.

NO SPOILERS* This game is good and very reminiscent of old school Assassin's Creed games. There is still that RPG elements that the series has become accustomed to over the past few games but thanks in part to Mirage's smaller scope, those elements are kept tightly leashed. I honestly felt like I was playing Assassin's Creed 1 more than Origins or Odyssey (barf). Baghdad is BEAUTIFUL and the game world is really fun to explore to immerse yourself in. There is still a bit of that Ubisoft jank but in my opinion, it's not anywhere near as bad as the series is known for...cough cough Unity cough cough. Matter of fact, in the 25-30 hours it took me to beat Mirage, I have only crashed one time and I've experienced zero bugs. The story is what you should come to expect of AC games in the rpg era...individual areas with their own mini bosses that are only loosely connected but thankfully it's not as disengaging as the story in, say, Valhalla because that "loose connection" is actually the A...

Honestly, this "game" should have been a DLC for the AC Valhalla game. I am just happy that I didn't waste much money on it and waited until Steam Sales for it do drop significantly. The story barely reveals anything new or worthwile the playtime. It feels so generic and tries too hard to cash in on the very first AC dynamics. The ending is just disappointing.

As a long-time fan of the original Assassin's Creed games, Mirage was exactly what I was hoping for. After a decade of massive RPG-style entries, this game is a refreshing and much-needed return to the series' roots. It strips away the bloated open-world elements and focuses on what made the first games so special: stealth, parkour, and a compelling urban environment. The star of the show is Baghdad. The city is dense, vibrant, and intricately designed, feeling less like a collection of quests and more like a living, breathing character. The crowded streets, hidden alleyways, and vertical rooftops are perfect for the classic Assassin's Creed gameplay loop. Parkour feels fluid and satisfying, and there are countless opportunities for clever assassinations. The game forces you to think like an assassin again, rewarding patience and careful planning over brute force. Speaking of stealth, it’s the primary way to play this game. Combat is much more punishing than in recent entries, whic...

"8/10 – Only because I’m an Assassin’s Creed fan ❤️‍🔥" I really enjoyed the stealth, parkour, and that classic AC vibe 🗡️🏃‍♂️. The world feels alive and beautifully detailed 🌆, and the story scratches that nostalgic itch. That said, if I wasn't such a die-hard Assassin’s Creed fan, I’d probably rate this a solid 7/10 – the gameplay loop can feel a bit repetitive, and some mechanics could use more depth ⚙️. Still, if you love classic AC-style missions and that old-school assassin fantasy, Mirage delivers exactly what you’re looking for 👌

The worst Assassin's Creed game ever made by miles. They tried to make original AC game and add some cool mechanics but they failed miserably. It seems they forgot how to make a game. I'm one of the people who grew up with old AC games and even enjoyed Origins and adored Odyssey but this made me quit the game twice. On PC with keyboard and mouse I was pulling my hairs out because the controls are bad and half the time you are actively trying to fix unwanted action, forcing Basim to go up because he refuses for some reason and have to press inputs multiple times to do it or doesn't want to climb or jump down which breaks the immersion completely. Combat is awful. The parry timing is tighter than Sekiro, dodge is ok but you don't have i-frame and they added stamina which doesn't make the game fluid because how small it is. And I hate games that give infinite poise to even small enemies but the hero has none and gets staggered by a fly -_- Stealth is a joke. Enter a rather large garri...
