Stay away from anything with Gamigo’s name on it. All they do are cash grabs and abandon games.
While i would love to give this game a positive review, i just cant in its current state. I played FATE back on my PC when i was a kid and was excited to play this and reminisce, but the bugs are game breaking and unfortunately make the game unplayable. Three separate times ive had my pets entire inventory get deleted, including quest items. Tried switching to one of the sequels and had the same issue happen within a few floors. Hopefully they'll fix these issues so i can edit my review.
They ruined fishing drops and that is a shame.
I have problems just getting the game to start up. Once it does finally start up it gets hung up and I have to use task manager to close the game. I am beginning to regret purchasing this product.
I used to play fate when I was really young I would play with my Grandpa. It's been a while since I last played until recently but this game still (The orginal fate portion) still holds up today and is some good fun.
If you played this as a kid I recommend this remaster (fishing is scuffed though). Otherwise, get something like Torchlight 2 instead.
Good Remaster I still like the old ones better theres a lot of bugs and glitches in the remaster but the graphics are a lot better. 8/10
absolute banger of a remaster
This game came with my new HP laptop in...2006? 2007 maybe? Anyway, I loved it and played it all the time. Whenever I told people about it, nobody knew what I was talking about lol. Long after that computer died, I periodically searched for ways to play this, but every link seemed too sketchy or costly. So glad to see this game reawakened, and with three sequels?!? Awesome!!!
I didn't play the original, so this is my first Fate experience. I've played Torchlight 2 so this felt familiar. I'm really enjoying this game! It is a nice chill game to play after work. I see the feedback and it seems like most people are upset with the new changes. I don't know the difference so I really don't care. Would recommend if you want something easy after a long day. Also, I saw this at PAX West which is why I bought it!
