TLDR: Nikke 2.0 without the gacha aspect I've waited for this game for months. Performance has been improved since the demo came out. This game is so addicting game-play wise. Pros: - Cute Anime Girl - Mosaic off by default - Replay-ability - Very Goonable Cons: - Needs two hands to play Overall: 69/10

Removing the censor bar would definitely make this game goty, and also adding 1 handed mode, as im definitely disabled on my left hand, and also maybe more fan service
TurretGirls is a tower defense game where you fight off waves and waves of aliens (really they look more like SMT demons but whatever) you upgrade your turret, buy more generators and charge the superweapon and maybe win or something I guess. Let's be real if you are interested in this game you are probably of two groups. A; Some dude who's wondering how hard he can edge while playing this, or B; An exquisite, refined, pervert who's wondering how the developer(s) will input all of their fetishes into one game about a girl on a turret. Well if you are in group B like I am, there's something... quaint about this game, first thing off the bat is that this game doesn't actually have explicit content, it has barely censored nudity and implied stuff but nothing actually explicit happens (unless there's some patch I missed in which case the entire point of this review is null). So that immediately drives off group A who will go and buy either some trash RPGmaker Kagura Games translated douj...
It looked like it had a chance to be fun as a defense rail shooter with roguelite mechanics seems fun, but it feels off. The experience is you select a mission in the start menu and it hops you right in with no tutorial. That's mostly fine as there isn't much to figure out, shoot the bugs before they reach the generators. Your mission will consist of days, you spawn in and shoot the bugs for about 30 seconds, whether all the bugs are dead or not after 30 seconds they all despawn and you "survive" the day moving on to the shopping screen, buy what you can and then repeat. It gets progressively harder as you go but you also get stronger. What I don't like is that it feels extremely unsatisfying not being able to defeat all the bugs. I wish instead of extremely short timer levels, it was something along the lines of defeating a certain number or repelling an attack. It feels extremely disjointed watching the whole VFX army also vanish when they are clearly overwhelming me just cause 30 ...
I know this game is marked as adult only, but it's not really explicit. TurretGirls is a genuinely well made, fun to play on rails shooter with censored nudity that only happens if you lose by one of two ways. The gameplay is simple. You are on a railroad track with a giant turret and your operator, a petite woman. You shoot aliens that are trying to destroy generators located below you, while a small subset of those aliens instead try to attack your operator. Each wave you win you get money to spend on adding weapons to your turret, upgrading your stats or adding/replacing generators. Each generator gives power to a superweapon for each wave you win. Completely power the super weapon and you face a boss that ends the level. The ONLY part of this game that is actually adult is this: When you take damage your operators clothes get damaged and destroyed. On low health your character starts to pant as if exhausted, and if you lose all your health she has no clothes on, but it's all cen...
Ngl its an ecchi roguelike game. But... 1. There's no full nudity / lotta these "reviewers" didn't even know you can screw around with the censor icons. Hence, why I called it ecchi. 2. You're not gonna aim for lewd content anyways, the gameplay alone is worth. Has a good gacha type grind for stats and weapons. 3. Has the late game intensity, stick around and fuq around. Gnarly spectacle asf, late level plays depending on your build. Def gonna dump some hrs into it. Dafuq do I know? I wasn't sober playing this. Fuggin worth price, rather for this than some paypig onlyfans retard.
Look guys, I'm just as simple as you all are. I see booba and booty and my monkey neurons activate, just like yours. However, just because I'm simple, does not mean I'm stupid. This game is so bare bones, barely any content. As a rogue lite, you will see everything this game has to offer in just the first 10-20 minutes. Three missions, that's it. The main draw of this game is customizing the girl character, but the grind to unlock clothing customization takes so long (some as long as 8 hours of playtime) and I honestly can not imagine how anyone could find this fun. If you're that down bad for cute anime girls, buddy there are better places to look. It's an alright game, but I like depth. "Oh, but it's only $8-$10 dollars for a little fan service game.", okay well The Witcher 3 is about $8 as of writing and you can have actual sex with women in that one, and there's a whole game attached to those sex scenes. Can't even play this shit one handed. Your move, pal.
Good for killing time while listening to a podcast or audiobook. The downside is that it's a bit too grindy for my taste; the upside is that there's a variety of underwear. It would be nice if they added more characters with different proportions.
There is nothing in this game that is more explicit than any Senran Kagura game (Or what you can see in Cyberpunk or BG3). Period. On any level, with any definition. And yet this game gets the ADULTS ONLY SUPER BLOCKED CENSORSHIP treatment. Just goes to show how fan service for normal people gets treated. As for the game, it's a heckuva lot more fun than the average Senran Kagura game. The game feels like playing Vampire Survivors but instead of being designed by a marketing director who hates you and makes slot machines it is designed by someones who likes you and makes vidya gaems (and likes anime girls too)
The turret gameplay, if you manage to get lucky with your upgrades, is damned fun. (and each wave is short enough that you don't get bogged down with exhaustion, unlike in Vampire Survivor marathons) But it IS so highly dependent on upgrades (whether weapons, passives, or Generator types) that so many runs die much earlier than they should over poor RNG and rather ludicrous expenses during early waves where you are unable to afford things. (there needs to be some balancing or changes to the RNG, and the price of rerolls) There really needs to be a passive upgrade system you can progress, as the unlockables......are okay and don't provide much worth outside of EXP for each turret type. The various outfits you can unlock for the girl (should be called Turret Girl, as so far you have a singular lass to ride the turret) are fine, but they're generic ecchi designs, not the lewd or outright erotic styles that would instantly make them worth unlocking over the rather inferior 'minor buffs' e...
