I can't find any online games so I play single player. But the single player just feels like dumb a.i. spamming you in high numbers to challenge you instead of making enemies who use any tactics. If you're looking for a more realistic experience instead of an arcade spam fest, go play wargame, warno, or broken arrow.

User Reviews
Great idea for a game, i especially love the skirmish mode against AI or friends. The Warfighter mod is a must have. if you loved playing with toy soldiers as a kid this is the game for you. Especially good fun if you're stoned. Horribly optimized, super slow, laggy and crashes alot. Just a good war simulator23
IDK Who is even playing this, but the campaign is still fairly buggy even after playing this like ages ago. but it's fun and I'm too poor to afford Ostfront so like this is nice enough
Abandoned and the editor is barley functional
In theory it should have been a great if not amazing game. In reality, this game falls short of the expectations that I had for it. - RTS is basic, like Men at War, but movement and orders feels sluggish, not fluent. -You cannot jump from point to point from the map. You must move to it manually. That is a pain if you are trying to move deployed units to a new point. - If you do not know about any modern military, you will not know what they have equipped as the game does not say. Doesn't help if you are not from that country and do not know the weapons they train with. - The tutorial, if you want to call it that does not explain anything on controls or movement for either the FPS or RTS. You need to watch a guide or learn the controls on your own. The highlight of controlling your units, well that falls very flat. Here is why: - The animations are janky and very distracting - You get into first person within a frame; it is very disorienting and hard to get your bearings. - The...
I havent played call to arms ww2 or whatever is called. But CTA fucking sucks. you can only play as 2 factions if you buy the base game. And then if you want to play the other factions you have to pay money to get the other factions. The missions are boring and suck. The devs abandoned the game years ago CTA. is a cash grab when the mods are the best part of your game then you know the game sucks. If you get CTA get the game when its 5$. go play mowas2 or goh
Unique RTS that includes FPS elements.
I can't play this game, the gun mechanics look absolutely horse sh....t. You don't hit where you aim. AI sucks Game is probably old but I'm used to good games. This doesn't feel fun at all.
It really feels like a chore trying to figure out how the game works in top of all the bugs, crashes, units not responding. These guys have gotten away with years of mediocre overpriced inconsistent work. It really baffles me that a game that was made in 2018 still has the original problems it had from when it "launched". I mean just look at what the playerbase was complaining about when this first hit the scene. The excuse of putting all the game's problem on the whole "this is a new genre and its being tested" is not going to fly anymore. If that is your excuse then okay! publish it for free and let people test it for free! ITS BEEN 7 YEARS. AND YOU GUYS RELEASED A SECOND CALL TO ARMS THAT ALSO HAS A PLETHORA OF PROBLEMS. BOTTOM LINE. DO NOT BUY. DONT BUY ON FULL PRICE. DONT BUY ON DISCOUNT. This game and the all the other games by this company should be taken down.
Very meh. The RTS and FPS are both so simple and dull. they don't really mesh well wither.
