Super good game. Progression is fun / well balanced, I'm a huge celeste and hollow knight fan and I feel like this game takes the best parts of the feels of both. Also... the tools are amazing. I love the grappling hook. I'm a swingy kind of guy, like a monkey, and the grapple hook just hits the spot for me. Level design goes hard too. Impressive this was a solo dev project.

About This Game
Water, earth, fire, and air. Master the four elements, and kill demons.
A mysterious portal to hell has opened up and plunged the world into chaos. Only the Archetype, master of all four elements and legally distinct from the Avatar, can stop the demon invasion.
Fast 2D Shooter Combat
Face a variety of demons that challenge you to always be aware of your positioning, keep moving, prioritize enemies efficiently, and use all of the abilities in your arsenal. Master all of the elemental abilities to make quick work of the demon horde.
Extremely Non-Linear
The world is your oyster. Explore the world of this Metroidvania with little restriction on which direction you decide to explore in. Each ability you learn is a tool, not a key, and there are multiple solutions to every problem.
Reincarnate Until You Succeed
This game features a permadeath structure where you rotate through the four elements as starting areas, resulting in you learning different abilities first each run. Experience the remaining three areas differently based on the abilities you already have when you get there.
Key Features
Fourteen distinct enemy types that offer a wide variety of challenges
Twelve elemental abilities that are all fun and expressive tools to use
A combination of permadeath and nonlinear level design that makes each playthrough different
A built-in item randomizer that unlocks once you’ve beaten the game
An original soundtrack that blends SNES-style chiptunes with heavy metal instrumentals

User Reviews
This game is a fun addition to the metroidvania genre. It has a lot of core mechanics that drew me to Metroid to begin with, as well as the mapping style and the exploration. The movement the game allows with its different abilities make for very fun gameplay, and zipping around fighting a large group of enemies is way too fun. Such a great game!
A fast-paced, fresh take on a metroidvania with some neat power-ups The grappling hook alone makes this worth a purchase!
This game was an eye-opener for the genre, for me. I usually stay away from the 'Vania' scene (mainly with low reward value) yet this title actually had me DETERMINED to beat it. I have no idea why, but this game made me want to beat it in record time. The creator introduced many cool abilities at a fair pace and I was able to play in a customary way that I truly enjoyed. I hope this creator keeps going, because I truly like what they have to offer. On to the next!
