About This Game

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End invites players into the world of the films - and beyond. Live and die by the sword while playing as Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. Help the three unlikely allies as they unite with the villain Barbarossa from the first film. Together, they'll work with pirates and fend off a massive attack from the British Navy at the mysterious whirlpool called World's End. I debated on getting this game for YEARS before finally picking it up on sale. I am so glad I finally did. Now, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. They BUTCHERED the story in this game. Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End is the third movie of that series, however this game by the same name starts off with the first mission happening before the beginning of Dead Man's Chest, the second movie of the series. It really feels like they compressed the 2nd and 3rd movie into a game and just gave it the same title as the third movie. I'm guessing if you haven't seen the movies it would be tougher to follow. Also, the dialogue is ridiculous at times. Still, I loved every moment of it. You are able to rebind the keys, which was really nice. The fixed camera aesthetic was something I don't see much, even having one of them at what I think was a fountain in the middle of the square, reminding me of Castle Town from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
