New exploration zones are now open. Two new maps, ‘Sewers’ and ‘School’, have been added, significantly expanding the scale and tension of survival. In environments completely different from the existing ‘Hotel’, ‘Pool’, and ‘Parking Lot’, you must survive once again.
In the ever-changing terrain filled with unpredictable threats, Exploration Mode puts your survival to the test—getting lost can be fatal. Every moment demands sharp judgment and strategy. On the other hand, Story Mode lets you follow fixed maps and uncover the deepening secrets behind each experiment and expedition. Now, it’s time to confront the massive conspiracy hidden behind it all. Will you find the truth at the end, or descend into an even deeper maze? You are now part of the experiment.
You are a test subject dispatched into the Backrooms
Async Corporation (aka Backroom Company) is a mysterious organization that explores the Backrooms—spaces accessible through a surreal phenomenon called “Noclip.” No one knows when or by whom the company was founded, and most explorers sent into the Backrooms have vanished without a trace.
Now, you will follow in their footsteps and enter the Backrooms. You must collect bizarre items hidden in each room and use your camcorder to record unexplainable phenomena and creatures. This data is more than just documentation—it’s the key to survival.
This place defies logic
Threats inside the Backrooms defy common sense. Some move incredibly fast and cannot be killed by any means. Your only option may be to hide in a locker and hold your breath.
Other entities are blind but respond instantly to the slightest noise. Every step, every breath must be taken with caution. Silence is your best chance at survival.
The truth is drawing near
As you continue your expeditions, strange signs begin to emerge. Blagos, the middle manager at Backroom Company, constantly sends encouraging messages to explorers—but some have started to suspect the hidden control system behind them.
What seemed like accidents at first now reveal repeating patterns and structures. As you collect more data on phenomena and creatures, you’ll begin to realize this mission may be part of a much bigger experiment.
Final Warning
There is only one thing left to do: uncover the true nature of this experiment yourself. Will you reach the truth—or fall into another trap?

3 hrs in playing with friends and we are having a good time! We just unlocked the 3rd level out of like 7. We haven't ran into any glitches been pretty smooth. Monsters are cool, levels are fun. Game does a interesting thing where you can play a combination of story and random level generation, which we are doing and its been fun! Some puzzles, some lethal company/repo like in a good way. We are having a good time, sure monsters ai could be a little more agro because you can hide right in front of them, but so far looks like love was put into the game by the devs, so can't wait for more! If your looking for a friend game definitely check it out!

It's short, you could probably beat the whole game in a couple hours if you know what you're doing. Each level honestly is not bad, yeah the puzzles aren't very complicated, but it's fun if you have a group to play with even if it is very repetitive. There are also a few strange design choices, like restricting the number of shells you can buy. I do like the relic system though
By biggest issue is with the final level. It's basically not a level. You go and push a button and then the game just ends, and not in a way that makes sense. It ends with you escaping the backrooms, and then you just come back? Not thought out at all. It's also not optimized at all, so once you get to the garage level, you're forced to turn the graphics way down so your frames don't tank

They indeed released a new version that fixed the bug I reported, and it came out within twelve hours. My friends and I then played for about three to four hours, and most of the problems have been solved. Without those bugs, this game would be as fun as Repo or Lethal Company. And sure did I laughed so hard and my friends screamed so hard. We had a great time playing this game.
I'll check every single update to see if the bug gets fixed. If it does, I'll update my comment. great job

Found all the pumpkin head parts during the event! Looks ridiculous but I love it. Fashion over function even in horror.
