Gimmick! 2

[h1] Easily one of the best platformers on Steam. [/h1] No escuses, you have to buy it if you're even remotely into platformers. The game is beautiful, affordable and, most importantly, flawless to the core. The controls are very precise, movement is fast and fluid, while the puzzles range from fun to brilliant. Give it a try.

first of all, what a mindblowing fact this game even exists, the original gimmick was a bit of an obsession for me for years leading up to this games release, so the idea of getting a sequel was honestly... worrying. i wasnt sure if anything could ever live up to the first game i had probably dumped atleast 50-100 hours into at that point i was wrong what a great game, pretty much everything i loved about the original gimmick multiplied by a million, and polished up to modern standards. a must play game imo, and one of the few games i plan on 100%ing every few years, alongside super mario galaxy 2 music is phenomenal, level design is tight and fun, with a lot of different angles of approach at every corner, where the game challenges you to take an alternate route, or to do a little puzzle room requiring quick thinking and reflexes the only minor complaint i have tbh relates to the ending, [spoiler] i wish we had a unique song for the ending that wasnt just reusing the opening again...

It is interesting

all criticism towards the lack of involvement of the creator aside, gimmick 2 is a pretty alright physics/puzzle platformer. a handful of worlds, accompanied by a pretty fun soundtrack makes for a decent time all around. good amount of collectibles to gun for in decent platforming sequences.
