godot engine with less functionality for $100 this is a complete scam
This should have been marked as early access, its undocumented, has typos, incomplete features and almost everything about this engine is convoluted, surprising.. considering its built on Godot, an amazing engine in every way.
I 100% recommend the program, for those who worked with PGMMV you notice a great evolution, for those who are starting in the game dev world or even for experienced devs it is a full plate, in addition the support is incredible, always answering questions and solving everything in the best way
My initial reaction is Action Game Maker is WAY too "fiddly". Firstly the GUI is in 6 point font and it's a dark theme. The game itself is zoomable, but the entire gui is in 6 point font and I see no way to change it? Secondly insted of using RPG sized panels or buttons, it uses nested folders. SURE there's a lot to include, apparently, but it's just poorly laid out. Thirdly to try and make the godot base more accessible, many things are pre-made, so then it's a job to unmake them to what YOU want. I own RPG MZ, MV, Ace and nearly all of them. And HELLO WORLD is SO easy, and then there's DEPTH to make it a real game. I can't see me ever spending the time to fiddle with this. With other apps, you have physics, as well as visual scripting if you want it. It may be a slower way to start but at least I feel in control and can get what I want. If I wanted to fiddle, I'd prefer to learn the free Godot itself. Of course I don't! I just want singing sprites that collide ;-) THIS is not a cl...
