It's clear that this is a passion project with a lot of content. Overall, there are too many types of upgrades and currencies. They are introduced too quickly, have unclear impact, and are unmemorable, so it just all kind of blurs together. For example, I just unlocked World Shifts. The World Shift page says that World Shifts cost Star Gems. I have some Star Gems, but I don't know where I got them or how to get more. There's just this new page with 12 World Shift choices I can spend Star Gems on. There's also a message that World Shifts will give me Energized Nuggets, but I don't know where I'll use those, and this screen doesn't say. This has got to be the 10th feature that's just like this -- a new feature, that costs or bestows a new currency, and maybe provides a benefit if I don't choose wrong, but isn't really explained in full and doesn't feel connected to anything that came before. There's not enough information surfaced in the right places for me to make strategic decisions....
