Ever wanted to play as a squirrel exploring a park and helping out your fellow squirrel pals? Now you can! Squirreled Away is a cute, cozy exploration game where you do quests to help other squirrels, restore the sanctuaries in the different areas of the park, collect resources, and build your own base! I love that the game is zero pressure and you can do things at your own pace, which makes it a truly cozy game. I had an absolute blast building my own base (and even multiple ones as I bought properties around the different area of the park). The quests weren’t hard at all to do and it was fun exploring the map to find all the golden acorns. I finished the game to 100% completion in under 11 hours, so this game is great if you’re an achievement hunter and want an easy, short game to play. Another plus is that it’s Steam Deck verified and works great on the Steam Deck! I highly recommend Squirreled Away if you’re up for a cozy adventure!

I'm a cute squirrel now! I got into the game a lot more than i thought i would. I definitely recommend it. It's hard to describe the game. You have simple quests and cute characters on one small island and one big island. There's a bit of building and crafting a little later. Try the demo!

Great way to de-stress from other action packed games, or even just to play for an hour or so after work. Definitely will be enjoying my time as a squirrel.

I like squirrels

Finished in an evening with my partner, well worth the time! Had a good time crafting while he was out exploring, and having a partner on the dog section felt NECESSARY, I'm sure solo players will struggle with that bit. Still though, pretty quick, worth exploring, cute puzzles, was fun

Squirrel life, doing Squirrel things. Building a cute house. Pissing off the dog; stealing it's bone. Making spring shoes. You know, Squirrel stuff.

Its a coop experience as squirrels, what more of a delight could you ask for? My wife and I snatched this up on sale and began a super cute squirrel adventure. There was much to love, with only a few things that left us feeling a tad unhappy. On the happy side, for the most part, exploring and unlocking new areas of the park was intuitive and fun! Honestly the best part! Different music, resources, characters, you name it! Then there's building your first house! My wife and I did not care much for the controls, but you certainly get used to them. And of course, there's the crafting, collecting, and quest system! Things to do and keep your squirrel busy are never too far behind. To be blunt, the game was SIMPLE. Like really simple. The quests were climb this tree and scare some birds or go talk to this character or can you craft this thing? The rewards were always mediocre... To talk on some of our unhappy parts...the fishing is still bugged in co-op as of writing this review. So on...

I now understand why squirrels love to tease dogs. I'm jealous of the power they hold.
