I gave it a shot, I truly did, but this game is terrible. The first Lucius is a masterpiece of gaming compared to this sloppy, straight-to-DVD sequel. In the original, the devs copied The Omen storyline and likeness of the characters, in Lucius II, now they also ripped off of the Children of the Corn series, straight up ripping Malachai from that first movie. It's like they are stealing all of the niche-demon-horror-movie infinity stones to collectively make the least interesting third person horror game ever. The actual gameplay is less puzzles, more sandbox. It starts fine enough with a bunch of death and destructible items to mess with. The hospital setting is pretty good and unique for this type of game, I genuinely liked exploring the many areas throughout. But oh boy, the UI is clunky and limiting; not enough cool powers and that skill tree is one of the worst looking skill trees I have ever seen in a game. Great game, a little glitchy and rough, A LOT more free roaming than the original, not as streamlined kills as the og but it's still a pretty fun game. Introduces Isaac who is a pretty fun character lore wise!
