There has been 2 total updates since October 2024. The first update did nothing but put Christmas decorations in the world. This game could be great if it was ever updated with any real content, but sadly it hasnt had one real update in 10 months.

About This Game
In this first person horror game, immerse yourself in the dark otherworldly horror of the medieval.
A long and dangerous road awaits the chosen Pilgrims. You will journey to find out what lies at the end of the road.
Thrust from the safety of your Village, given little supplies and a powered wagon. Take yourself and your companions through a dark world to find what awaits you along this winding path.
To survive you’ll have to delve deep into crypts, unlock dimly lit dungeons, explore the derelict towns and try not to lose yourself in the twisting woodlands.
In this solo or multiplayer dark adventure be sure to take a light with you into the dark places of the world.
Equipment
But dear Pilgrim - all is not so bleak. You will take with you a Wagon, one of the Village’s last remaining remnants of the old world. It’s fitted with a crystalline engine that powers it towards the user’s will - trust it and it will take you to where you need to be.
However, that is not all. The Village’s best and most cunning craftsmen have devised a dial that can divine the time of day! The three distinct time zones of Day, Night and Deep Night will be signified by this dial and a bell. Don’t be caught away from the wagon after day.
You might also happen across a friendly merchant who is all too willing to supply you with his wares.
Use items to help you navigate the world, fight off creatures and perhaps have a little fun along the way.
Monsters
We know you won’t be alone - we’ve seen them out there. The Monsters.
Encounter a range of different creatures - just a brief encounter might result in the end of your pilgrimage.
Death is not the end!
If you're playing with friends you can be brought back from death - but at what cost?
Friends
You don’t have to do it alone. You might get lucky and this year’s Pilgrimage could get a good batch of travellers all ready to ride alongside you in your wagon. But it’s up to you to do the recruiting! Get your friends online and see if you can make it to the end of The Road.

User Reviews
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“Approximately 5-6 months. The plan is to fine tune the game, add new areas, develop monsters, items and more and then to flesh out end game content.” PILGRIM has not received a update in over 10 months, last patches was 2x tiny changes that added Christmas lights and a hotfix that solved that very same patch in which broke all monsters from interacting/doing damage to player(s). Its definitely fun with friends in the start, but extremely short lived as there's next to nothing in terms of content/variety. Abandonware, has not fulfilled anything that was written in the road-plan either - since the game was released into early-access over 1 year & 2 months + 14 days ago as of writing this.
Bait game. I'd refund this dogwater if I could. Will never receive another update most likely and the developer continues to lie and lie saying they will.
Really promising, but nothing has been added in like a full year...
Unfinished Abandoned
poopy needs an update and less bugs.
Terrible unloved game with no real updates when they are promised and hasn't had any actual updates since release me and my friends are so let down by this game its unbelievable we really thought it would be good but it is so lackluster save your money or just go buy lethal company cause its just flat out better quality and more fun and less buggy and broken and wont get fixed $7.99 is overpriced for what this is i implore you to spend your money on something that deserves it instead. If you can get a refund ASAP!
Want to give it a like but it feels more like a abandoned project than a game actually being worked on. It is a Lethal Company clone and it has some good sides to it but within a hour or two you've seen all the game has to offer.
This thing getting review bombed for no good reason, if anything changes I'll change my review, but why do negative reviews gotta be full of misinformation? Who lies on the internet? Anyways, if you wanna keep track of the development process apparently it's better communicated on discord. Part of this is the devs fault for not communicating via his steam community much, but the update is supposedly still being worked on. Don't let the naysayers try to manipulate you. But without any further ado, the review; Gameplay and atmosphere wise, this thing is quite lovely. I think when it comes to player interaction and world interaction, there could be more items and events that could really make this game stand out as it's own, taking advantage of the dark fantasy setting. A good example is the chalk board and chalk mechanics, that's a really fun idea and more stuff like it could be great. Aside from that my only real complaint is the bugs, mainly with the audio and with stuff despawning. A...
RUGGED PULLED could have so much potential be up there with the top of these types of game but he just left it to rot :( maybe he might save it
