I enjoyed this game very much even a little glitchy but I got thru it, and one part I didn't realize I should throw my pizza box away lol. I love cheezy jump scares and fun spooky games. Oh and I really liked the typing alien game at work :)

This game was again better then the last and every other in the fears to fathom series! The dev has came a long way from the first game. I would love to see the next steps they take to make the jump to a more complex indie horror game. I spent about 90 minutes playing this game to get every steam achievement but depending on how long it takes you to get the northern pike fish you could spend up to 2 hours playing. If you dont care about getting all achievements you could probably beat this game in about 75-80 minutes. It was a good story and had some creepy elements and a creepy atmosphere. It was more of a potential slasher/serial killer horror then zombies or haunting horror which was nice to see a different angle tried to scare the person playing. I do recommend playing this game even if you havnt played the previous 4. Its worth $10 and if you can get it on sale for less dont pass it up. See my game play here https://youtu.be/N8euJtZWMdE

I definitely more like then dislike this game. BUT I see several cons that were bringing negative emotions while playing: - Slow paced beginning of the game. I was playing for like an hour and dropped feeling tired. There was nothing scary at this phase at all, except SINGLE screamer - Too much mini-games. This is the followning for the first point, at some moments game was boring and non-rewarding for extra actions I made. Like the fishing at the river. - It's not scary, unlike some previous F2F gmaes. Carson House was almost perfect. But 80% percent of this game gives almost no fear and tense, only a few jumpscares, which are fine. The ending is more tense and interesting though, but not "scary", but has good F2F atmosphere. --------------- Some positive points: + The story and ending are good, I still remember those after a few days after playing - good job! + Side story with side character is also pretty OK, there wasn't anything like that in previous games + T...

This review will serve as my review for the Fears to Fathom series as a whole, a series of 5 episodic games filled with charm and care. This series feels so comfortable (like, the games are uncomfortable and make you anxious, but playing them makes me happy, I mean). I hugely recommend these, totally worth the price and fun to play alone or with a buddy at your side (physically next to you I mean. The games are only singleplayer). The gameplay and stories of these games are fun and engaging in their own right. It's not all just about the spook. I enjoyed every single one of them a ton; I'd say Ironbark Lookout is my favorite (just so interesting conceptually) followed by Woodbury Getaway (this one), Norwood Hitchhike, Carson House, and Home Alone. Please keep making these kinds of games Rayll

As much as I like this game it's very broken. The story is great, the graphics look amazing and what I've played of it's pretty scary. Unfortunately the game is very broken. There is no pause option, no option to save, the settings are reset every time the game is launched, it takes a long time (2-3m at least) to load into the main menu and it has issues with tabbing out in full screen where the game is completely unplayable as all key-binds and mouse movements don't work. It's rather frustrating being an hour into the game and having to restart from the beginning because you tab out and the game breaks. There are also many bugs that softlock you and force you to restart the game and wait for it to load again such as at the start of the game where if you don't pick up the suitcase and the elevator closes you can't progress. I do really like this game but it's very broken and frustrating to play.

Probably the most fleshed out of all of the original fears to fathom games in terms of locations, variety and storytelling. I love how suspenseful this one is for the majority of the story - it always keeps you on your toes whereas some of the previous ones there's a few bits of "dead air" which are arguably necessary for the rise and fall of the climax - but this game feels a lot more steady with the pacing. Episode 4 and 5 (this one) are the best and longest out of the whole original series. Highly recommend.
