About This Game

Atomic Exile is a top down post-apocalyptic extraction shooter set in the desert wastelands of near future America. You will visit enclaves, explore devastated ruins and encounter NPCs such as other survivors, raiders, mutated beasts and rogue machines. Each run is a new experience with procedural generation ensuring that exploring the same area twice is never the same.

Equipment

You will start with the bare essentials. Scavenge clothing and food from the wasteland. Return to town and trade for supplies. Find valuable items to turn into cold cash. Stock up on medicine food, water and bullets. If you want to drive don’t forget fuel and tools.

Driving

The ruins are full of abandoned vehicles. With a little ingenuity some of these cars may be made to run again. Bring along fuel and tools and try your luck with repairs. Be warned a running engine is noisy and may attract trouble. Don’t forget to search the trunk. The previous owner may have left something useful behind.

Weapons

Find weapons to modify. Add enhanced sights, improve handling with better grips, swap out magazines and more. Craft the weapon that’s right for each situation.

Stealth

The denizens of the wasteland are on alert for wayward travellers. Keep out of sight and keep quiet unless you want to be diner. To much noise will bring unwanted attention. Even turning a door handle can alert nearby enemies.

Health

The wasteland is a dangerous place. Look after your health with medical supplies, food and water. Rest when you need to, run if you have to and drive when you can.

the only game and early access I ever asked for a refund this has little to no content when I tried it it had nothing really a single room, way less than a free demo like no such place,2 months later it's still constantly on steam featured games...weird I bought zero sievert instead who hasn't a ton of content either but it's an actual working game I bought several early acces extremely early some showed promises but never delivered like wolcen some did like subnautica grim dawn dead cells or astroneer this one I have doubts ? it already has better competitors if and when no such place releases that whole genre will get a wake up call

Still has many bugs and is very incomplete in terms of even basic gameplay mechanics. Lower the price for early access until you flesh out most of the bugs and some core features, I feel I got ripped off. Been in the game for hours and barely can accomplish anything because once you run out of the initial supplies, you can't do anything to progress because you can't fight back or use resources to stay alive. Plus, no melee, when kill NPCs they should drop EVERYTHING they have, guns, ammo, med kits, etc, as a boost and incentive for replayability. Currently lacks any replayable or progressive gameplay elements at its core, like a solid loot pool. Cool concept familar to TDS games in this genre but needs to cook bigtime. Will change to positive once the game is in a better state, atm I am nuetral but there is no nuetral option here. At the same time just understand your getting a unpolished and buggy mess for 15 bucks.

This game has some AMAZING potential. It's got some minor quirky UI bugs, but nothing too crazy. It's relaxed extraction to a degree, it it does it VERY well. It IS an early access so it's starving for more tasks/quests, but, I attribute that to the fact that I REALLY enjoyed it and just want more. Weapon Workbench is fun, there are base utilities to grind mats for, and plenty of zombies and bandits to shoot. Hats off to the dev!

hope they add a slider to turn down the footstep sounds. Ho. Lee. Poop. Unless you just like feet and that's just a dev thing? Everything else so far is great!
