The game is a little too janky for my tastes, and I enjoy some janky games. I got stuck in the 3rd room, the first jumping puzzle where you're supposed to 'jump kick' to stay in the air a little longer. I couldn't seem to time it correctly no matter what I did, and after awhile my character randomly began to walk at a ridiculously slow pace, which wouldn't let me get even close to making the jump. Restarting the level didn't fix it either, so I quit the game. After being taught that "Q" would jump kick, I was testing the keybinds to see if there were any other abilities I could do. I pressed "R" and suddenly found myself back at the start of the game. You should have something notify the players that "R" will reset the game at the very beginning, as it would be very annoying to get decently far into the game and then accidentally restart. I'd also recommend considering a "Are you sure?" "Yes/No" prompt before actually restarting it. The atmosphere for the game was nice, I like the de...

About This Game
Labyrinth Hotel is an immersive first-person, action-adventure, platformer video game featuring driving and shooting levels. The game offers three endings: two are straightforward, but achieving the true ending requires some backtracking and swimming. The setting is dark and realistic, contrasting with the bright, cartoony characters and cel-shaded enemies, making them stand out and instantly recognizable.
The environments also present stark contrasts. You'll navigate tight spaces and cramped hallways that evoke a sense of entrapment, and vast, foggy areas populated by large creatures, which may or may not be passive, playing into the fear of the unknown.
Some levels contain guest books that can be collected and read later, providing additional insights into the world and its characters.
All the enemy and boss models are made by me therefore they are completely copyright free and can be used by anyone who is interested in game development.
Notice: I've added an Introductory guide/manual on the right below release date, so if some of the more unique mechanics are a bit confusing that should explain them in more detail than the tutorial.
