IRIDESCENT

Officially the first player to beat the initial version of the game and all the 4 bosses! :D I've been eagerly anticipating this game for a while, and it has exceeded my expectations! You play as an adorable little moth and fly around killing enemies, collecting items from chests and doing trials for either Full HP or more $$$ to spend on chests, enemies have unique movesets and always keep you on your toes, especially the archers! Each and every run feels fresh and there are many items to mix and match to make fun builds, with each area giving you a total of 10 minutes to go around and explore - I highly recommend it for anyone who loves roguelikes. Looking forward to seeing what else will be added to the game down the line, and I wish the best of luck to the developers! <3

well-structured roguelite, if a little lacking in items and general content movement could feel a bit smoother decently fun game atm, really looking forward to the future of development also hi tim :)

I highly recommend any game that features pressing F to fish. This is now tied for best magical moth rogue-like I have every played. Very solid for early access. There are some bugs, but nothing that really gets in the way of playing the game.

Disclaimer: I'm a degree-or-two-removed acquaintance of the devs, so mine may be a biased opinion. [hr][/hr] I haven't had the chance to get too far into the game, but I'm enjoying what the game has so far (currently in early early access). Inspired by games like Risk of Rain, Iridescent has timed levels and stacking item effects from randomized chests, as well as a striking aesthetic that varies by level. Over time, the movement system grew on me, but like any, it takes some time to learn. It has potential for some great speed-running fluidity. I also enjoy the UI visuals, and the game-feel for the power shot is excellent. Though I haven't had the chance to explore it much, the progression between runs seems promising as well, especially if development continues to add more features and items. A minor gripe for me is enemy readability and visibility, but this is something that I think is present in other similar games. It can be difficult to find stragglers when fighting enemi...
