The trailer piqued my interest as it offered stylised aesthetics, the possibility to maze the enemy and mod the towers (sorry sentry's) and who doesn't love a new tower defense game. So all the elements are there but when playing there's something missing whether it's the lacklustre effects or simple map layouts (at least to begin with) i think deep down it just seems like another soulless tower defense game which in my opinion is also over priced. Disappointing.

About This Game
Modify Your Sentries
Choose from a wide selection of sentries. Change damage types, add new status effects, and improve stats. Create powerful builds and combos with smart use of status interactions. Explosions that trigger explosions, stunning lightning chains and massive damage over time effects are waiting to be built. The most powerful effects may come with large drawbacks, but hard choices can lead to great payoffs.
Interactive Environments
Use your sentries to charge devastating explosive devices, power up amplifying antennas using generators, move map tiles, and much more. Use the environment to your advantage and defeat enemies in creative ways. Different enemies will require different counters, and mastering the environment is key to defeating challenging bosses.
Diverse Enemies
Encounter a wide variety of enemies with powerful abilities. Enemies may shield others, accelerate, teleport, explode when defeated, and much more. Different sentries and status effects counter different enemies, so choose your weapons carefully.
Dynamic Bosses
Face off against challenging bosses in large encounters that test your skill with sentries as well as environmental mechanics. Every boss is an intricate puzzle where skill and strategy will be rewarded.
Roguelike Progression
Advance through a randomized network. Take routes that lead to items you need, trade some of your resources for others, and make the best of randomized choices. Resource management between battles is critical to success, as is building a varied roster of sentries that can tackle any challenges you face.
Classic Tower Defense Gameplay
Use your sentries to build mazes and control the routes your enemies take. Lead them down winding paths, past explosive devices, and into deadly choke points. Set up perfect positions for your sentries to maximize their damage.

User Reviews
A bit repetitive (same element weaknesses / boss order), map layout although varied often seems small. I like the random sentries and the mod ability. There is no upgrades between matches, so you need to learn what you did wrong before you queue up again. I really wish it went further with permanent progression/larger maps. I still enjoyed my time so far (plan to continue playing some more times), but I do feel like I have seen most of what is offered.
Lost once because the enemies had negative HP and were invulnerable. Lost again because i beat the twin suns boss, but the level never ended and I couldn't do anything while the enemies kept coming. Other than that it was simply ok. I felt like I got the same choices over and over because they are way too "zoned", and the fragment tower was OP as fuck. I literally started a few missions by dropping two of them and AFK'ed the rest of the game.
Great game. It has great foundations. The rogue like elements are a nice touch in a tower defense game. Here are some suggestions that I think could help make the game even better. -Add a UI element in game to know with tower has what upgrade. -Add a UI element to the conflux: electric to show buff area -Add a ui element to show if tower are affected by buff towers -Line of sight of tower is not very intuitive and would greatly benefit with having a visual aid
