The other review fell victim to the Dunning-Kruger effect as it is not true that the cases can´t be solved other than trial and error as there are no clues. The riddles require you to pay close attention to everything what is written, said (Hint: Especially what the police man has to say on your first assignment) and to your environment/items there. It is not easy, If you look for a game that offers some handholding or helps you out with alot of hints, than it might be not for you. I am myself got stuck several times but so far it felt very satisfying to make the deductions and eventually come up with the correct answers although you might end up entering some wrong ones or catch yourself reverting to trial and error. However once you have the solution it never feels frustrating retrospective like in few ohter detective/mystery games where you get stuck.
