No intent to ever make co-op story mode, they said it would take too long. While they're pumping out maps at 6 months for a cookie cutter layout, constantly running 1.99 sales, refusing to restock the humble monthly keys, and making terrible character packs with overpowered weapons to entice players to fork over more cash, I can understand why. Moving onto better things

Crime Boss is a first person co-op crime shooter with a style very similar to Payday. It’s not a bad game at all, the gameplay feels close to Payday 2, and in some ways, it’s still better than Payday 3. The characters and atmosphere are absolutely great, but the maps, whether in multiplayer, Urban Legends, or campaign, become repetitive and tiring after a while. And if you’ve got friends like mine who can’t handle stealth, then you can forget about playing quietly. Overall, it feels like one you’d only want to grab on a 90% discount. 6.5/10
Really like the rogue-like campaign, but not making it co-op because it is "to hard to make" or "It takes too long to make" is just a downright stupid idea from a dev that pumps out character skins left and right to make more money.
Feels like a mobile game was given some money and told to pretend to be a full pc game.
didnt even honour their main characters death in real life.
Game completely froze on a Windows level twice in a row, during an online session. Making the ONLY option being to sign out from windows all together so I could quite the game without fully restarting my PC. It sucks because you're then served a slap on the hand ban for leaving in the middle of a session, despite the fact I had zero control over what happened. Fix your game please, as I do actually enjoy it.
If you see this game discounted down to 1€, still don't bother, cause they sure are not. This game assumes that you know how to play it before playing it, sure, it's not a complex game, but you get thrown into the menu without any sense of purpose. There is a tutorial, but the tutorial is just a starting mission with no extra information besides the mission target and if you fail it, it disappears, locking away the achievement of completing the tutorial. Just play PAYDAY 2 or smth else.
Enjoyable rogue-like story mode. Very fun coop with friends. I like this game idk why it's not popular.
I love(d) playing this game with friends. Used to run at a smooth 60 fps on steam deck (low settings) but after the last update it barely hits 30. Horrible frame drops, stuttering and occasionally freezing entirely. I like the new free heist, I hate the new performance. Right now, I'd pass, especially if you're playing on Steam Deck.
This is the greatest heist game I've ever played. The single player roguelite campaign is wonderfully done. The absolute avalanche of named actors is a hoot. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's a big positive. The co-op mode is also a blast. It's hard to decide what my favourite part is! Shout out to the bots as well - they're actually helpful and useful. This is my new gold standard for heist games, no question.
