About This Game

Don't you hate getting phone calls from random people you don't know? I sure do.
But Luka?
Nah, he's got his way of turning a wrong number into a free movie date.

Luka De Castro is a carefree guy, he goes with the flow and tries to make the best of what life throws at him. So when he gets a wrong number call from a stranger in the middle of the night, instead of hanging up straight away he uses his charming personality to convince the stranger to take him to the movies instead of the person they originally intended.

Join Luka as he befriends Xander, and explore the many different types of relationships the pair could have, ranging from just being mates, to becoming friends with benefits, and so much more.

- Aussie Setting: Wrong Number is set in Melbourne, Australia. It makes reference to real world locations and the characters speak with Aussie slang. A handy glossary feature has been included for our international players.

- One Love Interest: One sexy man to get to know and try to win over.

- Short Gameplay: With only 40k+ words, each ending in Wrong Number can be completed within 1-2 hours. Making it ideal for players with busy lives, people looking for a casual game to play, or players that just like to finish what they start.

- Six Endings: Explore the 6 different ways Luka and Xander's relationship can grow, ranging from romantic to non-romantic, and varying degrees of physical intimacy.

- Original Soundtrack: Over 10 amazing original tracks by our talented team of composers.

- Voice Acting: Partial voice acting with an incredible international cast, with our two main characters being voices by Aussie talents, Xuan Vinh Huynh and Thomas G Burt.

- NSFW content (18+): Wrong Number is intended for mature audiences, and contains 3 sex scenes, graphic imagery and written descriptions, and adults doing other adult things.

-SFW route: For our streamer friends that are worried about getting flagged, the game has a Safe For Work route that does not depict any graphic imagery.

An enjoyable short story with a charming couple of main characters with some really well-written banter. The dynamic between Luka and Xander is a lot of fun, which is a good thing since it comprises about 70% of this story haha The story is largely built around their interactions as they go on dates (though neither of them are too keen to define what they're doing as 'dating') and generally get to know one another better. There are two distinctly different paths in this VN, which branch off at your first main choice: one without r18 content, which focuses mostly on the two characters getting to know one another better before deciding if they want to date or be friends, and one with r18 content which focuses a bit more on the physical side of their relationship. The characters talk about and joke about sex a lot in both paths (there's a lot of lewd puns like "that date sucked... and not in a good way!" scattered throughout both paths), but one path is less explicit than the other and h...

Wrong Number is a short, but charming and highly replayable visual novel bromance. The lack of reviews made me hesitate on this one, but I took a chance on it anyway. I'm glad I did and am happy to add my own review out of support for the game. I'll grant $10 is a bit of a steep price for a game that runs about an hour and a half. Like most visual novels, Wrong Number promises several play throughs worth of value experiencing multiple endings and paths. Unlike many other visual novels, I found myself actively excited to play this game start to finish multiple times. I don't mean just fast forwarding through everything, or save scumming, the second time through just to see the alternate ending. Rather, I remained actively engaged from start to finish the third and fourth time I played Wrong Number. Ultimately, Wrong Number does deliver game play proportional to the price. I figured the "safe for work" option was the same story with less suggestive text and art, but that's not the case...

A nice, fairly straightforward (no pun intended) romance VN. A little on the short side, but at the same time, feels like a good length for what it is going for. The art is nice, and the writing as well. Good dialogue. The voice acting is quite nice too, though it's a bit jarring at times because it's a bit inconsistent as to what lines are voiced or not. (Most of it is voiced, but not all) My main criticism (which mind you isn't that big of a deal for me) is that while the story is refreshingly open with the relationship and sexuality spectrum, it does kind of feel like the SFW route has the 'good' endings, and while NSFW has the 'bad' endings, as far as the usual VN definitions go. (
Maybe I missed it, but kind of bummed not to have a 'dating/romance relationship' ending in the NSFW route
) Still, would definitely recommend for a nice, sweet, short time.

While I believe you really need to play all the endings to justify full price, I really enjoyed my relatively short time with Wrong Number. Despite only having one love interest Luka and Xander had amazing chemistry, and they had such natural well-written banter which the VAs did such a good job with, especially Thomas G Burt who perfectly sold me on Xander's character. I also liked the CGs on offer, and the music was fine. One criticism mostly comes from the scope and budget limitations this game had. I loved every single line that had VA, which just made me wish it was fully VAed lol. Another thing I had mixed opinions on is the overall game progression by splitting the endings between a SFW or NSFW main route. On one hand, I'm impressed by the work of making both routes distinct from each other and not simply making the SFW route the 'censored' version. On the other hand, in the game's description it says the rationale is to accommodate streamers. However, I don't think locking o...
